Been visiting the diff Marriott group hotels in the world, this place is mostdisappointing.Firstly my check in took quite a long while about at least 10-15mins wait with no pax in queue as there was only 2 counters in operation at the lobby. I was a Marriott Bonvoy member, but the priority lane was not effective. After entering the hotel room, found the toilet to be covered in thick dust. Housekeeper came and couldn’t comprehend why. He did one round of cleaning but still found more dust at other area in the toilet. I had to call housekeeping another time and left to go out. After returning, still found the toilet not clean up proper after. Locker was not working. Housekeeper assisted to change the whole locker. Shower room wall was dusty too, so can imagine standing in yucky dusty water when the shower water washed the dust off the wall. We went to the lounge to have some cocktail and whisky. But bartender was obviously not interested in making the drinks. Drinks were subpar. Starbucks Reserve in Tianjin served better and cheaper cocktail. Morning Buffet was in a mess. Waitress gave away our table to another group of pax and the cafe was not cleaned up promptly, hence we had to wait for an empty table with food on our hand. Asked for earl grey tea, but after a super long wait, I was given sweet red tea. Tried to change, but the waitresses don’t seem like they understood what is earl grey tea even thou I spoke in mandarin.Concierge service was good. Helpful staff.

Despite being proactive to have asked me if I had any special requests weeks before our arrival, it was disappointing the hotel could not provide the support pillow that was requested. Otherwise, evrything else was in order. A very pleasant location.

This is a fancy western hotel in a great location. 10 min Didi ride from the train station.Theres nice walking along the river or in a shopping/pedestrian area across the street. The breakfast buffet is awesome. Theres also a nice pool and gym. Our only disappointment was the bar in the evening offered very weak yet expensive cocktails.

Overall the hotel was quite pleasing. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Our floor (6th) had a terrible door in the common areas the entire time of our stay. Our room was comfortable and clean but looking a little threadbare around the edges. Same can be said for the common areas beyond the lobby.

This I should t be called St regis it’s a half star hotel. Food terrible, smells Lavery bad, shower clogged water, and for $200 dollars I wasted my money

The St Regis Tianjin is a stunningly beautiful building, right on the riverfront downtown. Full of beautiful new buildings. The waterfront is also very clean and an excellent spot for a walk along the river or to the Italian bridge and area. Also boat rides are nearby.

Wonderful place to stay. Near to Riverside 66 and Binjiang Road

The hotel is beautiful and located right on the river. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very well appointed with great bathrooms. The gym was well equipped and in good condition. The pool looked great but did not get a chance to use it. The breakfast area was laid out very well and they have quite a lot of decoration which is a nice touch. The only small negative for me was their white wine selection was not great but I know it is not easy to get much selection of white wine in a lot of cities in China so it did not detract from our visit. I will definitely stay their next time I visit Tianjin.

Wonderful hotel to stay. Nice facility and central location. Walking distance to many places and walking along the river a pleasure. Breakfast was excellent.

Not worth for this price! Don’t recommend to live in this hotel only the location is the best but the service is terribly poor service and below standard. I had stayed 5days in this hotel, the hotel service just like 3 star service, the reception very poor attitude no greeting and very unhelpful. For the room not in very good maintenance, chair and toilet broken and TV remote out of order. No room service and don’t expect have refill coffee and Tea inside the room. Not worth for this price!

Still very nice and optimal hotel location to start discovering Tiānjīn. Unfortunately compare to last visit experiences breakfast and “happy hours” food quality and availability’s drooped and does not reach 5.star hotel expectations anymore. Please make sure if you ask for river view that you ask for “full river view” since I experienced getting half river/city view. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The breakfast was great with many choices available. We enjoyed the comfortable beds and room. We felt that we were well taken care of by the staff. Excellent hotel!

Property is pretty good. Only big issue we found is that there is no club floor or club rooms.

I saw St. Regis on road across the river a couple of years ago, and I was immediately attracted. This year, I had a chance to visit Tianjin again, so I decided to stay for a couple of nights. I am glad it did not betray my expectation. The room is super large with great comfort. The staff were courteous and very helpful. A gentleman sent to our room the converter my wife desperately needed to get to her company business on her computer. Then the gentleman gave each of us a cup of coffee as a courtesy. The unexpected kindness was heartwarming. We enjoyed different kinds of food from the indoor mall and outdoor vendors directly across the street. We also enjoyed the beautiful view of the river directly behind the hotel, which is a few minutes away from the railway station to easily get to Beijing in 35 minutes and elsewhere. I would stay there again the next time I visit Tianjin.

I checked in for my last night in Tianjin. OMG this place was amazing. The rain shower head in the bathroom I stayed in for 15 minutes just to finally be clean as well as clear out the sinus. Happy hour was very good and the patio was amazing right along the canal. Breakfast the next morning was very good. I was waiting on my driver and the staff kept asking f they could help,me or if I needed anything. Overall this hotel exceeded expectations and I highly recommend when in Tianjin.

Everything was good. I recommend this hotel to everyone. but one thing is most chiness worker can't speak english well. They only can understand few words. Only one or two worker can understand english. So, if u feel uncomfortable about it, u should memorize few chiness.

I have booked 2 nights first but then re-booked another 3 nights as this hotel is quite nice for a longer stay. Everything is in superior standard, service, cleanliness, catering, business center, etc. Particularly good is the riverside, jogging in the morning or before dawn is a joyful experience, if you are lucky enough having the days in good air quality.

The location of the hotel alongside the river is exceeded by the impressive structure and helpful staff. The room was spacious with all amenities. Great shopping at adjacent Riverside 66 mall. The night view was fantastic. Italian town is quite close

Arrived at midnight after a mammoth journey, efficient check in warm staff, stayed for four nights lovely hotel but the city has little to see and do so check out the pool and enjoy the breakfast, they also do a fairly good burger but due to the meat scandal can't vouch for the ingredients. Lovely hotel would definitely return as and when I go back to Tianjin.
