It was tricky to negotiate the road system in the very central area. Check in was quick. Had to pay extra for parking in the nearby mall. Rooms were nice but reeked of sweaty armpits. It was a noisy area with the bustling nightlife, and the room neighbors were very noisy. Otherwise a beautiful hotel.

No accessible handicap parking. You need designated spots if you have accessible rooms.

It was a nice hotel, in a nice location and friendly staff!!

The location could not be better. Active Plaza area with trams, buses, taxis, trains, every mode of transportation. However, you can walk to the park, the shops, the mall very easily. Hotel is beautiful with good staff. Breakfast Buffet is the best I have ever eaten. Gym is a bit out of the way but really large enough is get a decent "vacation" workout. My stay was really enjoyable.

All staffs and all facilities are excellent. I hope to visit them again if I'll be back at goteburg.

We had an excellent stay!

I found out that using the pool is a matter of booking it, and that at a cost. Both a bit irritating. Should be included in the room price for free, I think. I also a drop in any time make more sense.

If you are looking for a place to see and be seen while a DJ plays too high, this is the place for you. If you pay 10.000 SEK for 2 nights, I would have expected the possibility of borrowing an umbrella if need be for a few hours. Here, you have to rent it! It feels like they are trying to suck as much money as possible out of your stay.

Property location is unfortunately exactly at the cities ' tunneling project and thus the main train station.Parking is roughly 500 m away in a shopping mall and super inconvenient. That's obviously not the Hotel's fault, though. The Hotel is somewhat geared towards bus tourism and is visibly not the freshest anymore. Staff was extremely nice ( Ellen at front office!) and breakfast good for sure, to end this on a positive note.

Very big and busy hotel. We were on the 12th floor so often disturbed by movements from the top floor where the pool was. Good gym but overrun with children jumping on all the machines when we went. They were with parents but no actual supervision! Breakfast was always busy but we did always mange to get a table and plenty of food on offer to suit most. The room was nice (twin room shared with my daughter) and plenty of space. Good to have a kettle plus a couple of chairs and a little table for picnic dinners! Location is handy next tobthe station and quick access to parks, main centre.

As expected for a Clarion hotel in Scandinavia.

Excellent buffet breakfast and fantastic views from the rooftop pool bar!

We were put in a room in which the AC was not functioning. We thought the room would cool off, but when it didn't we had to repack and be moved to another room without compensatin. It was frustrating.

I love how European hotels include breakfast and the hotel did not disappoint. Room was clean and comfortable. The location and access to transportation is superb. My only complaint was that when I asked for the room to be cleaned (on day 3), the dirty towels left on the floor were picked up and hung for reuse. It was easy to get clean towels from the front desk

Large building (long walk to room), somewhat impersonal but very professional.

Really handy location for us, as we travelled by train and it is right next to the central train station. My room was very good - high ceilings, quite spacious, nice bathroom. The outside bar overlooking the square was very nice as well. Easy walk into Haga.

Hotel is lovely and cool in many ways. Had chosen hotel as they advertise connecting rooms and rooftop pool. However when we arrived on the sunniest day in July with the hope of taking a dip in the lovely outdoor pool advertised on website. 3 kids in tow. Only to be told that children under 15 are not allowed after 3 o’clock. Indeed disappointing. Have had a serious look for this detail on the website but cannot find? Second thing was the connecting rooms. There are apparently none. Not sure why this is advertised on hotels.com? And then it is the lovely huge outdoor balcony where the drinks are flowing. So much so that there are bouncers at the door and drunk people stumbling around. Don’t get me wrong- I do enjoy the occasional beverage myself. But perhaps not the way I had expected the theme of the hotel to be. Our second day the rain was pouring so the possibility of using the pool were non existent and although there was finally space for me on the balcony for an evening refreshment it was not quite the climate I needed. So we sat inside. At 5 pm the DJ was blasting the tunes, the bar was filling up and yet again my children were not in quite suitable environment. Jim in the bar mixed delicious Paloma! Then there was the restaurant. When the food finally arrived after over an hour wait with zero offers of more drink (empty glasses however had been removed) it was tasty. Got desert menus, tried and tried to order but eventually gave up and went to comfy beds sober.
