The hotel rate was fair but I wish we’d known that their airport shuttle “amenity” cost $25 (each way). $66 for the room + $50 (and tip) to get there and back to the airport. By the time the shuttle arrived at the airport could not check in to the hotel until after midnight and had to check out at 3am to allow enough time to get back to the airport.

The shuttle driver was super nice, he was ready before departure time, i appreciated that. the staff was super nice. the only thing i didnt like was that i could hear EVERYTHING from my room. i could hear the cars out on the street.

The staff was all very friendly, and very accommodating. The room was cleaned very thoroughly daily. Does no one do any ironing anymore? I asked for an iron, and they offered their laundry service. Also, we did have an issue with the instructions for using the safe. I follow instructions implicitly, and had nothing but trouble till I did it another way. I did suggest they make a correction on the instructions.We have stayed here because it is very close to where family lives, and close to shopping, restaraunts, etc.

The employees have all been wonderful. A/C and airport shuttle service with warm breakfast were the reasons I chose it and all lived up to expectation.

Need a place to stay overnight to catch a flight on the following day. The location for the hotel was convenient although they offered a shuttle for more than twice the price of a luxury taxi.

Conveniently located near airport. Breakfast was freshly cooked. My only complaint is that the airconditioner right above the bed dripped on me!

Close to airport and staff totally on the ball with airport pick up. Very nice! Nicely updated except for flooring in room and stairway/halls. Bathroom updates nice but deep cleaning needed near floor, shower area. Overall a good stay.

good one. However, the only problem i had is that if the hotel decides to raise their prices it should no affect to reservation already made. Mine went up.

This My “go-to” hotel when arriving in and transiting through Lima. Service, cleanliness and comfort is always tops. Great value!

I also left something in the room and contacted the hotel 3 times (using the tel no and email add on their website) to ask them to hold it for me, and on my return was told they dont monitor those lines of contact and they didnt have it. They were exceptionally unhelpful with this, and rude to boot.

The check in was easy and the personnel is good. The breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30 and it was ready about 6:45. They did not have bread. This was really stressful because our taxi was picking us up at 7 am for our fligth.

I like the hotel, not far from airport by taxi. Loction looks ok, and safe. But there is nothing to do around. Rooms are modern, spacious and comfortable.Staff was friendly and helpfull, only think i dont like (this is problem of most hotels in Peru ), staff expect that everybody speak spanish...

The hotel is off of a main road and the rooms are small and not so clean for the price.

Compared to other hotels I've stayed at in South America that are close to the airport, SM Hotel has been the best. I was picked up form the airport and taken to the hotel located 10 minutes away. It was clean, modern, specious and they even wrapped a small breakfast bag for me to take with me to the airport the next day for a very early morning flight. The service was excellent. I would certainly stay there again.

We were collected at airport as arranged. The room was clean and it was in a safe area. We left before breakfast time and the receptionist kindly arranged for us to have a little take away breakfast bag waiting for us at check out.

I only had one evening in Lima (en route elsewhere) and wanted a clean basic, good value place to stay. The staff were extremely helpful and the accommodation lived up to expectations. They organised a taxi to collect me and a sandwich on arrival (which I would definitely forego on another occasion). I wanted to see some of Lima on arrival (single woman on my own) and the hotel made suggestions of safe alternatives, which I took up. Would definitely recommend for a short stay, no frills hotel.

The facilities are on par with what you would expect. I was not blown away and I was not overly disappointed. I was frustrated by the noise coming from downstairs as I was the first room coming from up the stairs.. Also there was no way to just leave the air on or in fan mode. So, it would cut on and off at random so the room would get very stuffy and then some relief for about 8 min.

we arrived late at night at about 11pm. the staff was very nice greeting and taking luggage in to the hotel. they informed us we had a room with one bed, i stated I had called 3 days prior and was assured a room with 2 beds. the hotel was sold out and this is all they so they knocked 10% off the already low rate. there is no elevator in the hotel and so lugged everything up 3 flight and was given this weird really some room located half way between floors. As i opened the door it hit the bed, one queen size bed. there was about 10 inches of space on either side of the bed and the bathroom was a tiny box. it was probably the worst hotel i ever stayed in. the free breakfast in the morning was cold milk and cereal and coffee-tea.
