There were so many stairs (it does say there are stairs but it was an exceptional amount). No lift which it stated but with arthritis it was very difficult and uncomfortable going up and down several staircases to get to the room. Even the ladies toilet was upstairs - although I found a disabled toilet on the ground floor when I went to breakfast. It would have been good to know about it on arrival. The room was very nice although a little in need of sprucing up.

Shower cubicle was a joke , the shower wasn’t adjustable and was positioned to hit the enclosure rather than your body . The adjustable rails was all dismantled .

Location amazing, exactly what we wanted being 3 min walk from beach. Breakfast was lovely. Large room and bathroom. Only negative comment is we were situated near a fan which ran all night.

We needed a room for one night for a last minute break. Mundesley is quiet and a perfect overnight for us. Hotel a short walk to beach Hotel had everything we needed; bar, comfortable room, breakfast, all as you’d expect.

The property was good but let down by inadequate cleaners

Very disappointed in our stay. We had a bathroom that was filthy with black mouldsThe carpets in the room very dirt and not hoovered the shower didn’t work well. We had to leave early for our Macmillan hike and a pa Jed breakfast. The. Bacon say we ordered. The bacon was raw. I will not recommend to anyone. Not worth anything especially the price staying there

Not bad but not spectacular...room was clean enough and breakfast was standard..decided not to use public areas and ate while we were out and about

A little slow checking in, short staffed. Room was tired and wasn’t as clean as it could be. Shaving hairs in bath cobwebs, lipstick mark on cup and sheet marked. Breakfast was lovely staff were polite. Couldn’t fault portion size and piping hot.

Check in was easy, staff member polite friendly and very helpful. Room was clean tidy and spacious with tea and coffee. Bar was nice and again staff helpful and friendly as were the local customers. We had dinner and that was very nice too very large portions. Again the service was very quick and the staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and the breakfast room was extremely nice. Hotel was hang for Cromer and the surrounding area. Loved our stay and if we visit the area again we wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

It was an OK stay. Hotel was clean though all a little dated. A little overpriced for what you get. The menu lacked in smaller less expensive snack type meals.

Sower could have done with a deep clean to get rid of bits of mould. Lipstick on water glass at breakfast

We found the hotel was not very efficient, especially has I am vegetarian. Breakfast menu does not have vegetarian option. Staff wasn’t ready at breakfast time. Stay was quiet. I went with my wife, lady who booked us in assumed we wanted two rooms so in my opinion not lesbian or gay friendly. Wouldn’t go again

Staying at The Royal Mundesley was just perfect. Needed to visit a family member locally, only stayed one night but staff were great, really helpful with local dire tions and our stay. Room great size, lovely and clean, bed really confy got a good night sleep. Thanks to all at the Royal

limited choice in area but not worth the money I paid. the staff need some training from management on some basic requirements of the industry they are in.
