Beautiful property with an old charm to it. Amazing views.

The only thing I could think off that would have improved my stay would be a kettle/tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms themselves rather than in a communal lounge.

Very energetic, helpful staff at front desk. If you needed a ride to or from the train, its available. Breakfast buffet is very nice as well. If i came again to Wengen, i would definitely stay again.

I had great expectations for this stay since I’ve been to Wengen several times and I looked forward to stay at this hotel, that I value as the best there. It was a short stay to ski, so I arrived and I departed late. The reception closes at 16.00 so I found my room key waiting for me with a nice note and that’s it. After 16.00 there’s also no service to and from the station: a minor issue. I felt really unwelcome without a human contact with the reception: I can understand that at a “cheap” hotel but not at an upscale one. All the rest top notch: room, public areas and breakfast, one of the best I had in Switzerland.

Lovely typically Swiss hotel with views over the main street and mountains. Poor evening meal but lovely breakfast with helpful waitress. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel has nice views but I had a horrendous checkout process with a woman who was terribly rude and disrespectful to the point that our conversation escalated into an angry spat (and the fact that I was a brown woman traveling alone likely didn’t help). I’m a seasoned traveler who has been traveling for more than 2 decades and this was my worst experience, which says a lot. It was also the last leg of my trip and it left me with very bad feelings. Let me be clear: The younger woman at check-in was so welcoming and friendly. But the woman at checkout was decidedly not. And it wasn’t just her general attitude but also the way she responded to my questions in a mean, snide way. In the end, she was even vindictive and spiteful. Makes me wonder why she’s in the hospitality business.

This hotel represents the coziness of a chalet hotel with first class service. The amenities are nice view is unbeatable in the restaurant is excellent.

Very welcoming staff, good included breakfast options, and phenomenal view - one of the best in Wengen. Dinner, while not included, was also great and was marked for allergens such as gluten, lactose, etc.

Is rated as a three star but much better quality than that, deluxe robes in room, super service and make sure you get a room with a balcony. Overlooks beautiful snowcapped mountains. Has an excellent restaurant not to miss.

Fantastic Hotel!!! We were looking for a nice, quiet hotel for our mountain retreat. This place was perfect. It wasnt the most expensive hotel in the area, but you would never have guessed it. The location is great, right in the middle of downtown Wengen. Easy to locate upon exciting the train. Beautiful exterior, stereotypical Swiss chalet. Check in was super easy. Extremely clean. I booked a room with a view, view was incredible. I could have sat on my balcony and stared at the view all day. Room was average size for Europe. I stayed with my wife, and we had enough room. The decor was excellent. Very quiet. Comfy beds. We used the sauna, very nice. The honesty bar was cool. Got some coffee. The had alcohol and snacks available but I didnt partake in it. The employees very helpful. Breakfast came with the room and had solid options. I would stay here again for sure. Wengen is such an interesting town. Easy access to the valley or up to the top of Jungfrau. 5 stars.
