Very pretty property. Wonderful staff. Outdoor areas to sit. Breakfast was incredible. Unfortunately, the air conditioner made loud gurgling noises. In addition, movement on the bed sounded like rubber. (May have been the mattress protector). Regardless the combination of these two made it very difficult to sleep.

Great hotel for touring out of. Bathroom was small. Shops, bars, and restaurants all close by!

Very Helpful Staff . It was raining so bad when we were leaving and the staff scheduled a taxi to pick us up at the hotel and also the Grounds and Breakfast arw so beautiful. Perfect location

Booked this on Expedia specifically because it was the only hotel listed on here as having parking, so as to avoid carrying bags up steps. To be clear: THEY DO NOT HAVE PARKING. You must park in a paid parking lot up the hill, and then carry your bags downhill, and through the alley, then up the stairs to reception, and then up the stairs to your room (no elevator either). So it’s just like every other hotel in the area like that. This place is very much a budget hotel with nearly zero amenities, much like you’d find in Romania on the Black Sea. Room is cheaply appointed with plastic bathroom fixtures, but clean enough, and staff is friendly, but for nearly €300/night, it’s the worst value I’ve ever experienced for a hotel anywhere. They’re simply in business because of the beautiful location, but even the town of Monterosso is pretty worn out and has definitely seen better days, like the rest of the region.

Fantastic property close to hiking beaches, shopping and restaurants. Minor note that our shower door could not close all the way, and so there was water flooding the floor, staff was notified and they are fixing it highly recommend

The manager is very warm and friendly. Room was large and clean. Breakfast was good. The man who works breakfast was a bit rude- he wouldn’t speak to the women, just the men. Air conditioner was very weak and so was wifi.

Pros Excellent location from the parking garage. Front desk staff very friendly. Rooms are clean. Cons One of the groundsman/kitchen staff was treating other staff poorly in front of guests as well as being rude to us Rooms were super hot. Shower would flood as the drain couldn’t keep up with the water pressure. We were given torn towels. Room was very basic and the bed was uncomfortable. It felt like sleeping on springs. Mimi fridge wouldn’t cool.

Very nice boutique hotel, newly renovated. Everything was clean, staff very friendly. WiFi works great and excellent free breakfast. Perfect location in old town Monterosso al Mare. Everything was perfect thank you.

Great hotel- perfect for our needs - the best location for the quiet beach, restaurants, bars, shops and the start of the hike to vernazza. This location is set away from the station and large number of tourists. It's nice to come away from the craziness of the station and the main beaches to the old town area. We were amazed at how quiet the hotel was given how close it is to the Main Street. The hotel provide towels for the beach, and on the last day we learned that they will also lend out an umbrella to take to the beach too. Wish we had known this at check in. The main beaches charge €40 for two sun beds and an umbrella. The air conditioning makes a water dripping noise but this didn't bother me as I wear ear plugs anyway- however my husband had to buy some ear plugs as it bothered him. The room we stayed in was great and had a nice modern bathroom and a small balcony. The tv didn't really have any channels we could watch but managed to get you tube. I read on previous reviews that the beds can be a little hard so I asked for a padded topper for our bed. I still found myself needing to put a blanket under that topper but that was fine. The breakfast was very nice and you can order either an Omelette or scrambled eggs and bacon. Cute market on Thursday! I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone staying in monterosso. We spent 3 nights here and then stayed 2 nights in Levanto which was less busy and chilled compared to Cinque Terre.

The hotel is in a great location albeit a bit more of trek to train but not much uphill and close to the beach. The staff are most helpful and friendly. The room was clean and had what you need for a comfortable night. Breakfast was included and had lots of choice. We would stay again.

Beautiful property in nice area, very short walk right from downtown. Clean rooms with good A/C which helps a lot in the summer. Very nice and helpful staff. Bar area is a nice hangout as well!

Enjoyed our stay in the room with terrace. Highly recommend that room!!! As for room itself very small. The positives… air conditioning was nice and cold. Bathroom had a window you could open. Good shower pressure. Sheets nice and crisp also clean. Breakfast good. Negatives… Bed was a little hard. There is no elevator so you have to carry your things up flights of stairs.

A cute hotel! Staff and service were great. Rooms and bathroom are clean. It’s a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. However, the hotel is located at the top of a steep hill so don’t pack a lot or bring a heavy suitcase!

Excellent free breakfast, and a friendly and helpful staff! The best part was the available luggage storage and shower/changing option after checkout; which allowed us the ability to explore town and spend time at the beach before our train departure.

Beautiful hotel grounds with nice flowers all around. Great buffet style breakfast, ohh I really needed my omelet! The room was small but comfortable.
