We loved staying here. The hotel is elegant, very comfortable, with very helpful staff and in an excellent location. This was my first trip to Armenia and I wanted to stay somewhere with an authentic feel, great location and wonderful benefits all at a great price. I would definitely stay here again. The housekeeping staff did a phenomenal job. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. The provides soaps, shampoos and conditioner were excellent. My only regrets were not trying the hotel breakfast and having to leave at the end of my stay. Although they is construction nearby, we did not hear it in our room, and we also never heard any other guests noise. It was very quiet and peaceful. I also loved the Ardean gallery tucked inside and the Tufenkian rug weavers on the first floor. Vernissage outdoor market is a few feet away from the front door and you can quickly walk to many wonderful nearby attractions and places to eat. It is very close to Republic Square and the fountains. I highly recommend staying here!!

Ok hotel, but expected more from a 4 star hotel for that price. Beds were not very comfortsble. The pool was very small. Right next to a building site. Good breakfast. Good location. Nice staff.

Loved everything about my stay here. Super close to Repiblic Square, right across from Vernissage shopping and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is very clean and the rooms spacious

I was concerned about my stay based on recent reviews about construction noise, but this turned out not to be a problem at all. I asked for a room away from the construction and my room was extremely quiet. The room was large and had a nice bathroom with excellent toiletries. Breakfast was very good with lots of fresh fruit, and the service was friendly. The location is great and in a very safe neighborhood. It is right next to the craft market and a quick walk to republic square. I would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable and convenient accommodation. Fleamarket right across the street next to the park. City center square is less than a 2 minute walk. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast in the hotel is excellent. I'd highly recommend this hotel for a perfect stay in Yerevan.

I liked the hotel and enjoyed the stay. My only complaint was that I reserved here because it said there was free self-parking and I needed to park my car somewhere safe. I thought this was a hotel lot. The free self-parking is out in the street if you find a space. I informed the reception that this should not be stated as a feature of the hotel because they are not providing it.

The hotel is what you see when booking, so no significant surprises with anything in particular. The staff are not exactly friendly, but are functional only. The exception is a young lady, Eleanora, on reception, she is very helpful. As far as a trip to Yerevan goes, believe everything you read, “there are more sharks there than in all the oceans of the world”. The scamming starts the second you reach the arrival hall “taxi, taxi, taxi”, if you are fooled into getting one, even the one who shows you the meter, be prepared to pay 10 times the rate. Top tip, contact the hotel and ask them to get a taxi pick up at EVN, you will thank me!!!!

The staff is amazing! They almost bent backwards to help me with my requests with parking, scales, etc. The hotel location is great. The room was cleaned daily and cleaned well. The interior style also helps to form great memories! There seems to be a regional problem with hot water temperature - one just has to rely on surgical precision to find the right balance between the cold and the hot water and on secret spells to make sure that balance holds. The room temperature control also seems to have a soul and mind of its own: I couldn’t get the darn thing below 22C - opening the window helps for the cool air to get in, but it would unfortunately also bring some notes of smoke as well. Net-net, I’d definitely consider this hotel for my next stay. And a special thanks to the staff!

This was our second stay at the Tufenkian in Yerevan.Loved it the first time. Enjoyed it even more the second time. Great value. The best breakfast ever. Across the street from the Vernissage and easily walkable to everything Yerevan has to offer. An added bonus for us as we are both runners, it is right off the circular park, the best place in Yerevan to run before the Tufenkian's awesome breakfast! Looking forward to staying again.

So cheerful and attentive staff. Very polite and helpful. Comfortable bed and amenities provided throughout stay. Great breakfast buffet. Good location for metro and centre. Air con wonderful. Property looked a little dreary tho that’s just cosmetic and didn’t affect our comfort.
