really liked that it was so close to the Gates of Dawn and the Old Town

Very friendly receptionist. Nice atmosphere. Handy for old town square and bus station. Also Railway station. If they could improve anything, it would maybe be a little more selection on the breakfast buffet. I will definitely stay again. As a regular traveller, a refreshing change to staying in a large chain hotel.

Good price, very friendly people

Shabbish… the room had the old place smell. Old carpet, old furniture. Bedding was clean. The Garbage bag looked suspicious as if it was emptied after previous guests but not replaced. The location is good.

A great place to stay in! The staff member who helped us during our check-in was super nice and recommended us a good restaurant to have dinner in. All the other staff members were also very helpful. The breakfast was just ok, maybe not worth the price but an ok option if you don't want to wander outside to find another place. The room was clean and spacious and overall worth the price we paid. The bed was maybe a bit too hard for me but my friend found it really comfortable. Would stay again!

Good location, very easy to get by and visit the most popular places. Hotel itself is quite nice and clean. One small caveat - some rooms face main street, so it might get a bit noisy if you sleep with an open window.

Great place for the value and awesome location.

2 major drawbacks: there is no lift and the stairs are very narrow. Secondly, my room was not clean. I quickly found an empty bottle of water under the bed and the rug felt like it was not cleaned for months. On top of everything, the bed is very hard to sleep on

I had a room facing the back which is much better than the front, clean and big mattress not the best but they fixed it. Staff in hotel it’s extremely nice and helpful

I loved this place. Will definitely stay here when I return to Vilnius. Perfectly located, just at the edge of Old Town Vilnius. Wonderful restaurant across the street, farmers market and grocery store.

Moon Garden hotel is in a good location, walkable to the center and old town. It was clean and well kept, but furniture and decor is a bit outdated.

Very spacious, clean, wonderful breakfast, code access. New in the old body. Currently there is no elevator, but the construction is in progress. Expensive interior

Unique design

This modest hotel right on the edge of Old Town packs a lot of value! My room was charming and spacious, with robust a/c and even a (noisy) fridge. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially Juste, who was invaluable when I needed to rebook a flight. There is no elevator, but staff were happy to bring my suitcase upstairs for me. My room had twin beds--very comfortable.

Good experience

Calm and quite, nice breakfast, those who complain are spoiled. Very nice staff, it was no problem with late out check as we were leaving 7pm. Not more than 100m to the Gate of Dawn, (left hand side) where the old city begins. But I suggest to turn right and then right again and enter old city from a little bit different angle. Also visit the indoor market just 200-300m from hotel, also when you turn right. And take a walk in Uzupis of cause! Riverside is special!

היינו שבוע שלם במלון ונהנינו מכל רגע. המלון קטן ואינטימי, המיקום מצויין סמוך ל״שער השחר״ המוביל לעיר העתיקה של ווילנה״ , הצוות אדיב, מסביר פנים ועונה בסבלנות לכל שאלה. חדר האוכל חמוד וארוחת הבוקר מגוונת וטעימהומכילה את כל מה שצריך. המלצרים כל הזמן בודקים מה חסר ומשלימים מיד.אם נחליט לבקר שוב בווילנה ברור לי שנבחר שוב באותו המלון.

The location is very good, just by the Gate of Dawn and with walking distance to the railway and bus stations. Our room (facing the courtyard) was quiet and nicely decorated. Good bathroom with shower and heated towel rack. The heating in the room was also very good - important on a cold December day. TV, minibar and safe. The minibar was very noicy, but you can easily pull the plug at night. The breakfast room in the basement is nice. Unfortunately, we were not so happy with the breakfast buffet. Most important - no fresh bread. Very watery and sweet "drinking youghurt" and mediocre coffee. But there was bacon and salmon ;-) . There is a Maxima shop across the road. I would guess they have both newly baked bread and a youghurt selection. So you could easily "improve" the breakfast yourself. The price was very reasonable for the good room and location. Parking closeby available for 3€/day.

Very close to entry gate of the old town. Also, tour bus stop just across street.

The staff were amazing. I had a problem at the airport and the front desk staff were incredibly helpful in sorting out a problem that could have ruined the trip for me. I’m so grateful for their kindness.

Really enjoyed our stay. Perfect location. Right at the start or old town right next to the gates of dawn. Front desk was great. Housekeeping was great. This place is trying very hard we really appreciated their effort. Within this price range I don't think you could do much better.

The room was spacious with two closets, bathrobes, slippers, and shelf space in the bathroom. Location was excellent - we took the 88 city bus from the airport and it dropped us off just a few doors down from the hotel. Plus, the hotel is just outside the old town city gate, so we walked everywhere in Old Town. Breakfast was an amazing array of options with fruit, toast, eggs, salmon, pancakes, coffee, juices - way better than the typical continental breakfast I usually expect. But the most welcoming part of our stay was Justinas and Edgar - they were so helpful and answered our many questions patiently! They even recommended and booked our next hotel in Trakai- and it was wonderful, too! Thank you both!

Very nice hotel just outside the gate to the old town so convenient to everything. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful in introducing the town’s sites.

We have stayed at the hotel twice during this summer. Located a couple of minutes from the Gate of Dawn, about 7-10 minutes walk from the train station. Rooms are nice and spacious, no street noise, air condition was working fine. Breakfast is ok, not lavish, but good quality local cuts and cheeses, bread and cereal. They could work on juice selection though. A tiny minus: it can be noisy in the hallways, maybe the doors could be more soundproof. The staff are friendly and helpful, separate thanks to manager Justinas and Edgar and David on reception.
