Paid $280 a night was only worth $150. Lino Flooring coming off in bathroom and kitchen. Windows wouldnt close properly. Looked like it was from the 1980's.

A very convenient location in the heart of Balnarring and convenient for the event we were attending 15mins drive away. New managers are welcoming but just getting used to running this motel . Despite confirming an available early check in, we were given the keys to a room that had not been cleaned after previous occupant. Visiting this motel with another couple who share our unusual surname, we were given rooms at either end of the complex. Rooms are dated and the towel rail was nearly detached from the wall.

Absolutely not value for money. We paid $650 for two night on a very outdated room where windows couldn’t be close and aircon didn’t work. No staff on site, very noisy neighbours and some kind of music festival next door which made us leave after just one night.

Nice motel very centrally located on the Peninsula, and within easy walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. The motel itself was a little dated, but the staff were super friendly, and the spa jacuzzi in the room was nice. We certainly would stay there again.

Everything was up to expectations and easy access shops, restaurants and beaches

The Motel is in a good location and Frank and Di are lovely. Had some issues when arrived and was thankful for Frank sorting the booking issue out with very little fuss. It’s a basic motel, but very clean and worth a stay. We stayed two nights and would stay again. The shops are great and you have good variety when shopping. Balnarring has come along in recent years with some lovely local shops, cafes and bars to visit. This Motor Inn whilst a little tired in the furnishings, was very clean open space as is common for older hotels, and check in was super quick. Door locks a little flimsy and could do with replacing.

Typical older style motel. Across the road from the motel is Balnarring Village with shopping centre and restaurants, cafes, etc. Easy access to wineries and beaches at Merricks, Point Leo and Shoreham. Perfect for a short stay in this area.

Particularly lovely people staffing the place. Scrupulously clean.

The property was quite clean. Could do with cobweb removal from the bathroom. The motel is very dated and could do with a facelift but the bed was very comfortable. I didn't have any issues, just giving an honest opinion.

A lovely clean motel with everything we required for a night on the peninsula following a work Christmas party. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean. A touch noisy in the morning as neighboring guests were departing but very convenient and well run establishment

Lovely hosts and a comfortable and spacious room. Everything we needed for our short stay and the shopping centre was just across the road. Very quiet and the bed was super comfy too. I would definitely again.

Older style well maintained motel with spacious bed sitting room and kitchenette with kettle, microwave and cutlery etc. Nice bathroom with excellent shower and plenty of hot water. Clean, comfortable and everything works.

We thought it would be more friendly and comfortable than it ended up. It was very expensive and we could get a very good hotel in a major city not a 2 star hotel in the middle of nowhere for the same amount of money. Our booking included FREE Wi-fi but when we asked about it we were told that we had to pay and they would not honour our booking voucher. Most reputable hotels would at least honour the booking and adjust their advertising/marketing just to make a customer happy. They wanted to see the booking confirmation (which fortunately I printed before going on our trip) but they still would not give us the free Wi-fi. Also, the rooms were extremely dated and the beds uncomfortable - rolling into my partner every time we moved in the bed was annoying to say the least. Furniture was from the 50s or 60s and the bathroom was just a bit of tiling attached to a piece of plywood stuck to the bricks and some loose vinyl flooring. To say we were unsatisfied is an understatement. The only plus was that it was close to the HMAS Cerebus where we needed to be for a graduation of our daughter. I would find something else that was a bit more of a drive if we ever had to go there again. A definite thumbs down from us
