Very nice hotel with good location close to the port and within walking distance to the old city center of Stavanger. Friendly staff, nice breakfast and bar serving good food. Will for sure come back to this hotel.

Nice and specious room with all I needed, incl. a kettle to make a cup of coffee. Everything in really good condition and a fabulous breakfast buffet. I will definitely book Scandic Stavanger City next time.

The room itself was ok, nothing special, was quite small but I think it was probably a budget option as I’m used to UK prices. The staff however and the food were great.

Simple and elegant. Cleanliness was remarkable.

Close to everything with convenient parking (fee applies) underneath. Just stay on the unmarked side. I found it very walkable. Comfortable bed and seating with a quality shower. Friendly staff and ample breakfast.

The best part about this hotel was the amazing breakfast- probably top 5 in all my travels (40 countries- & 40 years). Room was good, small but suitable for a one night stay. Bed was okay (but bouncy 🙂). Location great for exploring.

For some reason it is nearly impossible to connect to the wifi with an iPhone, and there's no help at all other than "keep trying". It literally took me 50 minutes of trying on the second night to get connected. The breakfast is halal and decent, the hotel has two entrances and a taxi ordering service. However, no one tells you which entry is the one all the taxis arrive to, good luck dealing with Stavanger taxi drivers and losing a few Euros while they tell you where they are, assuming they don't get lost for ages moving you 3KM. The hotel is very clean though there aren't any services beyond the basic.

Staff is very good. But they should have a disable parking space on site for free.

The breakfast was brilliant! I liked that you can cut your own avocado, all the biscuits selection and juice bar. The location of the hotel is also really nice, with harbour just across, flybuss taking you to the hotel, quiet and not too far away from the shopping area.

Vi var fornøyd med rommet og det var deilige senger. Hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening, men vi fikk ikke rengjøring. Søppel ble fullt og tallerken sto under hele oppholdet etter at jeg hadde kjøpt noe mat i resepsjonen. Maten i baren var kanskje litt stive i forhold til mengde.

Really nice room, friendly staff,in this covid 19 conditions hotel staff did a really good work.

The hotel is nice and in good walking distance from anything you might need. The staff was friendly and rooms very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the first impression is annoyance, because they have a good size parking garage in the basement of the hotel, but have chosen to rent out most of the spaces to a private company. Only 7(!) spaces are avaliable to guests and those can not be reserved. You will have to drive to the closest parking garage in town and leave your car there. This is a 10 minute walk away from the hotel. When you arrive tired from a day's traveling, this isn't what you want to do. Another issue was a clogged shower in one of our rooms. We notified about this the same day we checked in. And reminded again the day after. It was not fixed by the time we checked out. A final small complaint - no bacon for breakfast...

Our room location wasnt that great,its beside the gym at the groundfloor and it has weird smell. Other than that the hotel location is superb. A few minutes away from everything.
