Honestly It would have been ok if it had air conditioning. I was sweating like crazy. I could not open the windows because the first night I was eaten alive by mosquitoes. That elevator needs to be fixed...looking at the other reviews it's been broke for some time.

THE ELAVTOR WAS BROKEN. I HAD TO GO UPSTAIRS TO FOURTH FLOOR WITH MY BACKACHE. THE FLOOR IN THE BEDROOM WAS NOT THAT CLEAN!

Beautiful location. Excellent front desk staff. It is up on a hill so all treks on foot are a good workout, but nothing extreme.

It was a very clean and comfortable place. I stayed for two nights and well enjoyed my residence.

Sofa bed was a camp bed. Worst bed in my life. Wireless was not working in half the room. I had problem with my safe and I had to call 4 times to get it unlock. Finally the phone was not working.

Everything was fine until the Sunday night techno-music concert. We were not informed and had to get up at 4:00 am to catch a plane. Not a good night’s sleep. Everything else was good, including breakfast. Mercí encore.

In general a nice place to stay. Great location and friendly staff. The room was comfortable and had a good size. However, one thing that was really annoying, was the poor Wi-Fi.

We booked this place because it has onsite parking which is hard to find in Lyon area. If you do not drive to the hotel, it might be challenging to walk to it with the luggage. The hotel meets our need.

No AC, so it was warm-they did provide a fan. Outside of the main attractions, so without a car it was about a 10-15 walk to get anywhere of interest. Super helpful personnel.

It was good, but it would have been good to know beforehand that they are located up a very steep hill, so taking public transport and walking while pulling baggage is much more challenging. Also, there was a small leak in the incoming water pipe in the kitchen sink, which I let them know about.

The place is very nice, the room was clean and well furnished with a nice little view on Lyon. The ratio quality price was good. I recommend the place. Nice little restaurants around to go out during the evening.

Ancient building restored to a good condition, good ambiance,staff friendly. One to note if arriving by metro (croix pacquet) lots of steps and a very steep climb to hotel.

A little odd. Seemed more like a dormitory. We were there 2 nights but we were not able to get clean towels for the second night. A little disappointing. But the room was large and clean and it was a good location. Overall I would recommend it.

This is a wonderful old historic building run now as a Residence. Really well equipped kitchens and very adequate rooms. Good big double bed. On a hilly site with a great view. On the right side of the river for shopping and eating.Would definitely stay here again. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

The front desk people were amazing! The only drawback was that the room did not have AC and it was very hot during my stay. Otherwise, it was great.

The reception staff were helpful at check-in and the parking great. However, the room was terrible. Third floor, hot even in spring, with tiny window and no aircon, no power sockets near the bed, nor bedside tables! Bottom sheet was stained, quilt cover on inside out. Double bed was tiny. No housekeeping after our first night (no replacement shower gel or toilet paper — we almost ran out on our second morning). Toilet paper really cheap. So many little things that could have been so easily fixed for a more comfortable stay (like shelving in the wardrobe).
