Briarwood is a beautiful B&B, well maintained by the proprietors.

The location and the home were especially beautiful. It is obvious that a lot of effort has gone into both interior decor and outdoor landscaping. Grateful for the A/C on such a hot and humid day!

The bedrooms are each unique with excellent decor. The four public spaces are excellent for sitting and reading. The gardens and yard is beautiful.

It was a hot day. It would be lovely if the room was cooled before our arrival. We provided our expected time of arrival by your request. This would have been just another pleasant experience for us. Breakfast was great as well as the service.

A perfect stay after arriving at Halifax Int. Airport! Delicious breakfast and beautiful surroundings.

Just a quick overnight stay. Owner and staff friendly and property well kept. Room was large and bathroom was average for an older home. Dining area has a large table where guests can share stories while eating. Convenient location to hwy and amenities.

This a large, beautiful, and well maintained 19th century heritage home. It has amazing character and is beautifully furnished in a style matching the home’s character. The owners/hosts Con and Rose were very warm and welcoming. We enjoyed a nice bacon and egg breakfast in the dining area with the other guests. There are many amenities down the street (gas station, grocery store, bank, and restaurants). An excellent choice if you need a place to stay for a couple of nights that is only 10 minutes from the airport by car.

Beautiful yard and home. No shoes allowed in house. No refrigerator space given. Bathroom was down the hall. Owners asked for cash instead of credit card at same price. No thermostat or air conditioner in room. Nice breakfast.

A beautiful mid 19th century home exquisitely decorated and well maintained with lovely gardens surrounding. We had a sound sleep and delicious breakfast the following morning. I would highly recommend this quiet adult oriented B&B.

We loved our stay at this b and b! So beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. And the old house was beautifully maintained and the host was very kind and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, and we look forward to returning there if at all possible in the future.

Briarwood is quaint for a 1 night stay only, on your way to another destination as it is close to Halifax airport.

Con and Rose and staff were fantastic with top rate facilities and grounds. Close to the airport, and great breakfast, with fun converstions with other guests. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality bed and breakfast experience.

Absolutely lovely. I stayed in The Quince room and it was perfect. Bed was comfy, quiet, large ensuite.
There are different rooms to sit and enjoy, I particularly liked the solarium. Cozy, perfect spot to read on a rainy day. Plus, while enjoying my coffee in the morning, I saw several deer in the back yard.
Short drive to the airport.

Such a peaceful retreat it was hard to imagine it was so close to the airport and highway. The trains sounding during the night was unexpected though.
