We only stayed here one night but the bed and bathroom was good. The onsite restaurant was very beautiful with a lovely outdoor space. My only negative was that we had a room right next to the elevator so we heard that going up and down well into the evening.

As always Van Der valk have amazing beds , beautiful breakfast , would’ve been nice to have some water in the room as a welcome touch But at Dinner I ate my carpaccio starter which was amazing , my main arrived which was lovely u til I chipped my tooth on what can only be described as porcelain which was in my Mash potatoes , although this was removed from my bill I'm now looking at a dentists bill to fix the chip in my tooth which tainted my stay

Average hotel, a bit aging but ok. Positive in this chain is the free parking. Restaurant is very expensive and low quality (at least for dinner, food is only heated up).

Like the other Van der Valk I stayed in Roermond, the place in Ridderkerk is excellent in all possible ways. My room was perfectly equipped with Espresso machine and a free mini bar. Nice jacuzzi bathtub and still a nice shower cabin. Bathroom with body wash and shampoos of a nice brand. Wireless charger for mobile phone built into bed table. Bar and restaurant perfect and reasonably priced. Check in and check out super friendly and fast. Parking is free. Really to me a perfect place to stay for business for one or two nights. Super clean and modern. Nothing to do around the hotel. You cannot walk anywhere. Taxi or car needed to move around.

I was staying at the room right next to the elevator and I was hearing the operational noice through the night and was not sleep well..

The staff were great, friendly and very helpful. The food and restaurant was excellent. The room furniture was a bit tattered and looked quite old. Pillows were uncomfortable. They has a good green option with not having the room serviced each day to help the environment. There was nothing within walking distance to eat or do.

The only downside is the location which is not in the centre of the city but to reach the motorways is great

Stayed on business having arrived in NL on a late flight and stayed locally for a meeting early next morning. My room was large and spacious, reception ladies were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice but then the Van Der Valk chain are always the best in Europe for breakfast as far as I have come across. I’d definitely choose it again if I need to stay in the area

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay at the Hotel Van der Valk Ridderkerk. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room, food and facilities were excellent. Thank you for looking after us.

Very clean, new, comfotable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We didnt like how far it was from public transportation, specifically the walk from the train. It was through a business park and it was a little sketchy.

There are no local restaurants. So, there is no competition for the hotel restaurant. This results in a very simple menu cooked very poorly. I heard nothing but bad comments from other guests.

This is my second stay at this hotel. I cannot say enough good things. Starting with check in: very easy, room: perfect, location: great, breakfast: non better, bar: comfortable, staff: They should be in every hotel courteous and helpful. As you can tell in am extremely happy. I shall return with confidence.

My associate and I were pleasantly surprised by the quality level of this hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was pleasant on all the various shifts, and helpful addressing our questions.
