This might have been one of my favorite hotel stays in a long time. The hotel was beautiful, the room was wonderful with a fantastic large bathroom. The staff were all friendly and the food was delicious. The town was small and cute to walk in. I would come back and stay again.

Superb hotel and outstanding customer service from the team. Stayed here for one night and requested an early breakfast the next morning as we were up early for a walk. The front of desk and kitchen team were very helpful with this. The room was beautiful and the evening meal we had the night of our stay was delicious. 10/10 would recommend.

Central location, lovely staff. Clean room with lots of home comforts. Nice and quiet room. Very comfy bed.

Everything was good, except for one thing. My niece who lives in Wales came to the hotel to pick me up. She parked in the parking lot behind the hotel because it was a relatively shorter walk for me. I am disabled. The hotel owner, an older gentleman, came out and yelled at her for parking there since she was not a hotel guest. She explained the she was picking up a disabled hotel guest. I was in the hotel lobby waiting for her and when we went out I witnessed his rude attitude towards her. NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Staff were excellent andthehotel verynice

Right in the centre of the town, within walking distance of the local cycling shop where we hired bikes to do the bike trail which is just on the doorstep. Staff were attentive, facilities were excellent, front and back outside seating area. Meals were fabulous. Will definitely return.

This hotel is in a pictures lil town dolgalue it was so pretty and quiet .And close to so many places to drive too .

Excellent restaurant and comfortable room. Not much in the town surrounding it, but a good stop going up or down the west coast of Wales. Comfortable room.

Friendly , efficient staff, good range of food and drinks. Our bedroom quite small and required some tlc. Limited parking . “Unsmart” tv.

A really friendly welcoming hotel with bar and restaurant. Our room was spotless and there was a large disabled access bathroom. Fresh milk in a thermos for tea and coffee in the room was a thoughtful touch. The shower was hot but the flow was a little underwhelming. Lovely young man on reception loaned me his iPhone charger - much appreciated. Full English breakfast was excellent and we appreciated the cafetière of coffee. A great stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff were friendly and accessible. The food was very tasty and we didn't have to wait very long before it was served. The room was on the third floor but, with the lift this was not a problem It was very clean and more than adequate for our needs. I would recommend The Ship Hotel.

Excellent hotel friendly and efficient staff.Food very good. Only one comment a safety handle would be useful on the side of the bath when having a shower.

Charged my card after I left for the dinner I had the previous evening and paid cash at the bar - didn’t sign any authorisation for the charge, checked out personally-just unbelievable! Called after I find out I have been charged without my knowledge and authorisation just to be told - “if you paid cash you can’t prove it” Ivaylo Ivanov

Hotel stay and breakfast very good , however this seems to be a pub with rooms and the pub food is not good and expensive , so this effects your stay if you eat there , by saying pub food not good I am being generous
