I really liked the location of the property. It was easily accessible by public transportation at any time of the day and because of the location, you can feel safe taking public transportation even at late hours of the night. The staff there were excellent and very attentive and pleasant. Every single staff there was incredible. One thing that I did not like was the fact that every guest had to stop at the front desk and wait for the staff to call up to the room before they could come upstairs. I think this is a bit invasive to someone's privacy. As long as the person knows what room or suite they're going to, they should be allowed to just go upstairs. Not every guest wants everyone to know who is coming to visit them. I don't believe people are just randomly walking into hotels from the street if they don't know who they are coming to visit. I personally, would like to see this changed.

Hotel was clean and the staff were all friendly and went above and beyond to offer a great service! This is now my hotel of choice in Freetown and I will definitely be back

Wow, fantastic place to stay in Freetown. It was my first time there and everyone there went out of there way to help me and make my stay great. This is where I’ll stay next time I come back.

I didn't get the room that I booked at first and was put in an apartment off site of the hotel. They did however get me moved over as soon as they could. We did get in trouble for swimming after hours, but we had not seen any signs on the hours the pool was open. Overall, a great place to stay because the staff is amazing. They have been there for several years and tend to remember you. A very nice touch. Plus they will go over and above to make your stay good.

On a noisy intersection but closing the windows helps significantly. Staff are very friendly but the quality of the included breakfast could be improved.

our stay at this hotel was quite pleasant. the staff are friendly and eager to please. food of a good quality and well presented. A couple of minor matters were quickly dealt with making us feel valued customers. we would definitely recommend and stay again.

My only qualm was the fee they charged me for transport from the airport to my hotel (you may be aware you need to take a boat into Freetown); service was said to be VIP but I ended up waiting for more than an hour for my boat to come while the passengers I passed by in the queue surpassed me on their boats. The boat is $40 each way and the hotel charged me $120 each way (3x the already expensive boat ride price). Once I found out the price relative to the service that was offerred (my secretary booked it), I cancelled the return. The accepted after a bit of back and forth. So definitely arrange your own transport.

I had the best nights sleep in a long time at the swiss spitit hotel

Nothing wrong to say about this hotel. The owner of the hotel is so nice, she let us take a shower while we were leaving at midnight and checked out on the morning already. Possibility to buy tickets for the speed boat to reach the airport. Perfect hotel, location, food, services.

Decent place to stay in a difficult city to find good accommodation.

Placed in new bldg which required crossing dark ppl full unsafe road. No working phone in room. No railing on stairwell. Staff wouldnt do anything to help. To top it off their laundry lost a pair of socks. Dont Stay Here

The front desk management and staff were very helpful and polite, and willing to go the extra mile to make me as their guest comfortable and satisfied. I also found the premises well secured and the surroundings safe; guarantied supply of electricity and water; and adequate staff complement to ensure that the hotel remains clean and spotless at all times and that things work well.
