The food was good the drives were close it was very quiet but the pool was outside 😉👌😄😅😃👍

We had a very pleasant stay at this property.

It’s probably worth a solid four, but the walls were so thin we could hear people on both sides. One side decided to stay up past midnight so for us that meant intermittent sleep.

Very good property near the park. But they did not clean our rooms even after a 4 days stay.

It was clean and nice. Bathrooms were great and recently upgraded. Breakfast was above average.They only cleaned the rooms every 3 days which was an issue with garbage. There wasn't a place for us to put recycling. They have an issue with not enough ice machines and people taking too much ice for their coolers.

Room was dirty. Bathroom looked like it hadn't been mopped in awhile. Lots of grime and bodily fluids in the tile grout next to toilet. Speaking of the toilet, absolutely filthy. One bed had stained and wrinkled sheets. Looked like the maid never stripped the bed and just remade it. We'll never stay here again.

Near Acadia national park

Haven’t stayed in a best western in years because I am a snob, but it was the best dog friendly option we had and I was surprisingly impressed!

Full breakfast was great. Clean room and bathroom. I really don't have anything to complain. Great location too.

Nice and clean

The room had a musty smell. Tried to open window to air out but that didn’t help. Carpet needed to be cleaned. There was a large spider that we tried to get but it crawled under the baseboard. Hopefully it didn’t come out at night and crawl into our bags. Good location

Great place close to Bar Harbour. Not really walkable to the main attractions but close to everything. Rooms were clean and had huge bathrooms.

It was clean, comfortable, and the perfect location for visiting Bar Harbor & Acadia.

Easy check in, friendly p.m. staff. Room was decent and clean. Laundromat on site which was nice. Good place to stop for the night.

The hotel was clean and the staff super friendly. The only downside was that no matter what the room always felt damp. We had the AC running and the bathroom fan on, but nothing got rid of the dampness.

Affordability and convenience…

Average accommodations at a reasonable price, considering the prices of the other hotels in the area. The location is great if you want to be close to Bar Harbor and need a pet friendly place. When I went to check in, I mentioned we were traveling with our dog and were told that they did not have a pet friendly room, even though Orbitz had advertised them as being pet friendly. I said that I had written in the requests/notes section that I was traveling with our dog and she seemed irritated and said that she guessed our room would have to be dog friendly for the night then. I’m thankful that she let us stay, but her attitude was off putting. Perhaps this wouldn’t be an issue if Orbitz communicated with the hotel that a pet is staying if the “pet friendly” filter is checked? Other than the issue with my dog, the motel was clean, in a good location, and quiet.

It was fine for our trip. I booked this hotel because they took dogs, but there was not checkbox for pets on Hotels.com. So I was surprised when I got there that they had to make sure they had a pet room available and I had to pay $40/night extra for my dog!

This is a nice hotel with friendly staff. We are a family of four with two teenage boys, and by opting for the roll-away bed, we slept comfortably in the room. The breakfast in the mornings was enjoyable. Each day offered eggs, protein, a waffle maker, yogurt, oatmeal, breads, bagels and english muffins for toasting. The boys enjoyed the pool for a bit one day, and the flowers around the hotel property are beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

The only things I did't like was the coffee and apple juice were watered down.

This property could be fantastic. It was in a safe, convenient location near an entrance to Acadia and with a Lobster Pound and mini golf around the bend. The grounds could so easily be improved on by more outdoor seating, a few picnic tables and some landscaping. There is ample room. The beds were comfortable and the internet worked. The TV channels were difficult to access, but that may be true everywhere up there. I have a few gripes about our family suite. The childrens' room with two twin beds was what my sons described as a tomb. No windows, no air conditioning and beds wedged into the wall so my taller kids had no room. Also, what is the deal with barn doors? The kids' tomb and the bathroom both had expensive barn doors with gaps so that they were not private. There was a difficult to use hook and latch on the bathroom, but a plain old fashioned door with a lock would have been preferable. I don't like seeing out into the room from the toilet. Oddly we had the same situation in three hotels in Maine and NH.

The room is quiet and clean but everything inside the room feel wet.

Great property, clean and friendly staff. Great breakfast too.
