Very atmospheric, clean and comfortable room with a safe. Wonderful staff and excellent location. Across the street from a beautiful church.I did not have any hot water in my room, however, so needed up change rooms.

Lovely ambience. Great location for the city centre sights. And the Menu del Dia we had for lunch one day was delicious (for Colombia) and great value. We enjoyed our stay.

Popayán's center is a wonderful place. And this hotel was a perfect example of the quite beauty. The room was spacious, clean, and relatively quite, especially being on the street side. The bed was somewhat hard, but otherwise the room was very comfortable. On future trips, we will definitely stay again.

The location of the hotel is awesome...within short walking distance to the main square and historic area. Theyve done a beautiful job of renovating the hotel...the decor, inside square and dining area match the colonial elegance of the city. The room is clean and comfortable. Double beds are small, pillows are a bit hard and no toiletries in bathroom like shampoo.

From the outset, all staff were delightful and very accommodating. Food in the comedor was fine, smiling staff were helpful. Because of them we loved Popayan!

Good location. This is a small, charming place, good to stay for a night, nothing fancy, but friendly service. It's a good deal.

Hotel is centrally located to most historical attractions. It is nice and clean but the reception desk is very unprofessional. They didn't want to honor my expedia reservation. I had to print out the mail with the reservation in a different place. This was awkward as it was late and I was tired. The clerk lied about multiple policies. Be aware as this office scans your passports and hopefully they dont do anything with them. I would choose a cheaper hotel there are plenty on the area without this nuisances.

Great location in the very heart of Popayan, great food from the restaurant, excellent setting in a well maintained colonial building and very helpful staff. Wi-Fi was not available in our room, which was facing the main road and so quite noisy during the day. Overall excellent quality at a low price. Highly recommended.

Central location, clean, reliable and outstanding service

Arrived at 8am in morning.They had my room ready.I dont speak Spanish but the staff were very helpful.Right around corner from main plaza,lovely quiet courtyard to sit in after a day sight seeing,would definitely stay there again.

One of the best hotels in Popayán (I had the opportunity to visit a few of them)

Enjoyed our stay in the White City. Historic down down safe due to heavy police presence. We were told rest of city unsafe. When we ventured outside safe zone locals very nicely warned us unsafe for us. Talked to one young women who had camera stolen at knifepoint.
