I really enjoyed my stay!

Very nice hotel! Big bathroom, comfy bed. Would stay again.

Wonderful location! Breakfast selection was very good. We got a room adapted for disabled people even though we didn't book one. It was spacious and the beds were electrically articulated which was fantastic. The only negative was that the shower didn't have screens and the floor of the whole bathroom got too wet.

Booked to be in central Helsinki for the duration of a football tournament, wanting to be sure we saw Helsinki whilst there on the non-playing days. Pleased we booked breakfast in advance as the on-site price offered seemed relatively high (even by Helsinki's own standards). Private taxi transfer from airport can be fixed cost circa Euros 35 - 40, we went by train which was efficient but then charged €20 for a few blocks taxi ride (with case). Obviously went back to airport more effectively. It was staff holiday time, so hotel evening restaurant not tried except for breakfast, which provided a good range, well stocked, well laid out that set us up well for the day. A reasonable range of restaurant options locally but eating out in Helsinki is not cheap! The hotel is quite well positioned in terms of access to transport and attractions. Bar area could perhaps offer some more comfortable seating options, perhaps that's the Finnish way. There was a sauna on site, but we did not try it As always understanding your needs in terms of Helsinki card passes and transport passes difficult to be accurately understood on day one but by working at it and delaying the start date (we had the luxury of being a couple of early days being booked up with other activities) meant we had time to work it out and use them relatively effectively. English widely spoken staff on front desk very helpful with enquiries also Tourist info Office (when we got there - Cathedral Square).

This hotel is close to the must visit in Helsinki. It has easy access to the public transport as well. The staff were all friendly.

Newish, clean, friendly service. Nice surprise that even the street side rooms are really soundproof. Great breakfast buffet!

Very nice and clean hotel. Also very thoughtful that, on my son's birthday, a plate of fruit was placed with a birthday card. Super thoughtful! Breakfast at Börd was very well taken care of, very extensive, top. We were also able to use the sauna, which was lovely. Nice place to stay.

Wonderful experience. Room was well appointed, staff was friendly and attentive. We arrived very early and they accommodated us immediately. Right on the main boulevard right on a tram line in a cool location — and a five minute walk downtown.

Breakfast was ok. Unhappy at having to queue for 25 minutes just to check in as only one member of staff on reception. Not what you want after several hours travelling. Rooms were nice but had to suffer noisy neighbours one night.

The room was nice and clean. The sauna was very nice too. Staff was friendly and doing their best to provide the great services to their guests. Two things. It took more than 30 min. to check in. Just a few poeple lined up but one couple was asking questions one after another without considering a line up. There was only one person for a checkin. The second issue was a coffee maker. It wasn't working. The front staff was trying to fix it, but it didn't work. I usually don't care, but coffee in Helsinki is super expensive....

I recommend this hotel by twi point, design and food. The room is good and unique design. It can help to enjoy your vacation. And the all morning meal is great. My favorite is salmon.

So many things to like. Great friendly staff and impeccable cleanliness. The breakfast is just perfect with every healthy option you could think of. And even more you couldn't... I stay here each time I'm in Helsinki and will be continuing that tradition.

Breakfast was amazing

The room had a strange heating system with very poor control. If you like sleeping in a cool room, it is not possible to reach a temperature below 22C. The Chromecast system on the TVs does not work. I asked a receptionist, and she said it would be fixed. I asked another one the same night and she said they fixed it and was surprised to hear that mine is still not working. Another receptionist said in the morning that it had not been working for a long time and that it was not going to be fixed. Hard to understand who has the most accurate info but it never worked for me. Breakfast was really good. The beds are comfortable and clean. The location of the hotel is definitely great.

I have stayed at Hotel Indigo pre-covid and thought it pretty good. This time it was even better. For the price point this hotel is excellent value.
