We had the retro room. We loved it reminded us of our younger days. The view I cant say enough of the view of the ocean. The bed was comfortable and loved having 2 bathrooms. It was nice place.

Husband and I stayed in room 227, the room was nice, kind of dated, clean, but carpets had lots of big stains, needs to be cleaned, bathrooms are nice and clean, the kitchen was nice and functional, loved having everything you need to cook meals. The views are AMAZING!! Loved the easy access to the beach. I would definitely stay at the Sea Gypsy again but in a different condo.

Rented a condo, so it was spacious, but old and worn; definitely needs an update into the 21st century. Also, just plain dirty. Dust build-up throughout. And worst of all, the bedding had not been changed from the previous guest!! Nice beautiful view, though.

Absolutely amazing stay. Just wish we had a sliding glass door screen like all the other rooms. It was hot in the room despite leaving door open.

Have stayed this property several times and I enjoy it. Easy access to the beach and to the shopping areas..

The bedroom bathroom seat slide and was repair fast . Also mold in bathroom around the shower in several spots . No screen in two windows . Sink facet was loose and move ! The mirror were not very clean !

Nice 1 bedroom condo right on the beach! Great furnishings inside such as comfy mattress and pillows. 2 bathrooms were a bonus too! Great location to good restaurant at the end of the street. We would return if ever in the area.

This property was clean and comfortable. The decor was a bit outdated, but nothing to complain about.

Great trip, cleaning before we arrived seemed a bit rushed. Employees sweater left in the room along with other items from the previous occupants. Kitchen utensils were lacking and lightbulbs were burnt out. Nothing major and didn’t stop us from having a great trip. Fantastic place and would greatly recommend and be back for another trip. Kids really enjoyed the pool and the easy beach access was great. Also the location was easy to get to hikes, casino, shopping, restaurants, etc.

My fiancé and I absolutely love this property! We love it so much that we’ve already booked our honeymoon for June of next year! This is our favorite place to go on the Oregon coast, hands down!

Even though this property is older, the unit we were given had updated bathrooms, was clean, and had great beach access. All of the employees were friendly and helpful as well as all the other guests we came into contact with. We were able to have a relaxing time on the beach!

This place was a little dated and dirty..but loved the location just steps from the beach. Had good parking and was happy to have a pool and a laundry room. Its definitely not fancy but we loved it and would stay again.

I recently stayed at Sea Gypsy and had a very disappointing experience. Upon checking into our room, we found numerous cleanliness issues: rice on the floor, dust on the console, sand scattered around, and what appeared to be either blood or ketchup on the furniture. The room had a strong moldy or smoky smell, and the shower was moldy. These conditions were especially concerning as we have a medically fragile baby with multiple allergies and on oxygen. The health risks posed by the unclean environment and the unpleasant odor were unacceptable, forcing us to vacate the room shortly after checking in. After reading other reviews, we found concerns about bed bug infestations. We were particularly alarmed as the sheets didn’t look like they had been cleaned. Despite being told the property was recently renovated, it didn’t appear to be. We brought these issues to the attention of the hotel management and provided photographic evidence. While they acknowledged some sand on the floor, they refused to offer a full refund, only returning the cleaning fee. This situation disrupted our family vacation, as I had to spend considerable time addressing these concerns and finding alternative accommodations. Overall, our experience at Sea Gypsy was very disappointing, and we cannot recommend this hotel to others. If I could, I would give this property a zero-star rating.

Can’t beat the proximity to the beach. Beautiful view from our room. The room was clean and decorated nicely. The complex is old and shows its age but it’s clean and quiet.

The view was great. Could not ask for better access to the beach. Had laundry facility there and that was nice. Room had all the kitchen items you could want and plenty of family board games. Biggest drawback is the stipulation to do the dishes and put them away before leaving. I’m used to being asked to run it in the dishwasher before Leaving and that’s it. Great stay over all.

Love having a view of the beach. The kitchen was wonderful to have and the bed was comfy! Checking was just getting an email with our code which I loved! And not having to carry a card was nice!

We loved staying her. We’ll definitely be back next year.

I've stayed at the sea gypsy in the past and didnt have an issue but the room I got put in this time was absolutely horrid. Bodily fluid stains everywhere, and on the sheets, an obvious unwashed duvet cover, and mold in the shower and windows. The lay out of the place was ugly, bright blue with just a hand full of decor items. It was such a disappointment to walk into after an 8 hour drive to get there. I will not be coming back.

Unbeatable location on the beach and next to the main highway for excellent access. Right next to a very good seafood restaurant. Property is a little dated but in good condition overall.

The views from the room were great! Room was comfortable and clean. There is a little inlet stream right outside on the beach which is great for littler kids! Warmer than the ocean and shallow enough for them to splash and play in. Great place for family vacation!

I felt like I was in an over priced motel 6. I can hear foot steps all round at night. The walls are very thin. Paint is chipping. There was food in the fridge from the previous people who stayed there. The dishes that were put away were dirty. It honestly felt like they just vacuum and made the bed. Even the shower had pink residue from what ever the previous people used. Almost $1000 for what?
