So peaceful and beautiful! Second time staying here and both times we loved it! The porch with the river view was amazing!

Very nice grounds but inside the room not so much. Overall the place felt dingy. First impression was a smell of sweat when we opened the door. The towels also had the same smell. To top it off, one of the two beds had bed bugs, the next morning bug bites all over exposed skin. There seemed to be blood spots on two of the pillowcases. Mattresses and pillows were not the best either. The bathroom wall had holes, one from the door not having a door stop. Overall, the property does not seem to be well maintained and housekeeping not the best either. Finally, no spot lights on the property entrance to show the name or entrance to facilitate finding the place at night.

Awesome place to stay on the river and walking distance to restaurants and tubing places.

The loft cabin was remodeled from the last time (years ago) we stayed there. It’s gorgeous!!! The mattress was comfortable, the multiple shower heads were convenient, the steep stairs were not an issue for our toddler and the entire loft was so clean!! We will definitely be back!!!

Wow! What a great hidden gem with a better price than most hotels. Amazing porch view with comfy beds and great ac. Also the staff was very nice and helpful with a mistake i made with the reservation. Arrived on a Wednesday and decided to stay there the final few days of our trip. Made our trip that much more awesome!

Simple lodging good for weekend stays. Good location for amphitheater. Outside patio is the best feature with full fridge if you want to cook. The downside is the bed isn’t comfortable and could be much cleaner.

The property is beautiful there’s no disputing that. We rated it low because there was tissue shoved into the holes in the walls mainly the bathroom area, the hot water was fickle, the upstairs bedroom set up didn’t make sense to us you had a table in between the beds but no access to plugs so the table was useless because the plugs were on one side of the room and then on the opposite wall of the second bed so your phones and computers were on the floor. The floors weren’t cleaned properly there was dirt and some dead bugs. The walls are paper thin!!! We had people show up on our second night and we were kept up by their baby crying and when anyone would walk around upstairs or going down the stairs you could also hear their entire conversation as if you were in the room with them so we whispered throughout our room to not wake the baby. The office closes at 4 which is highly inconvenient because you’re usually out and about and when you get back there’s no one to contact, our shower rod fell and was being held by sticky tack it seemed but because it happened after 4 we had to find away to fix it. The bathroom also doesn’t have a fan so when you do take a shower the whole place fills with humidity and you have to open the window to try and release it but when it’s humid outside good luck! The back door lets in all kinds of air. But… it’s convenient location between Austin and San Antonio is a huge plus, the pictures you can get here also are gorgeous the town is super cute

This place was exactly as it was advertised, but even that did not prepare me for the wonderful experience I had! It was a spacious cabin style room with a rustic wooden deck out back overlooking the river below. The surrounding area was well lit with decorative soft lights that outlined the beautiful walkways leading down to the river landing. The river landing was landscaped perfectly to match the surrounding mountainous area. Even though I live in central CA, I am going to find a way to make it out to this place again just to experience it for more than the one day I was there! I had an amazing experience! This was not a modern chain style of hotel that I stay in very frequently, and I absolutely loved it! If you stay here, expect a nice quiet getaway for a few days at least. Well done!

Liked the rustic look of the property and its cleanliness. The location was also great. The view from our cabin was amazing.

This property was in the perfect area and close to the friends we were visiting. Very cute and rustic but with nice features inside like full fridge and large updated bathrooms. I love that even the hotel style rooms are still more of a suite with a separate bedroom and living room. The only downside was that it would have been a bit more convenient to have some silverware/dishes in the kitchen area since there was a full fridge, sink, microwave and dining table but was more difficult to take advantage of those amenities without the little things that go with it.

Amazing property on the Guadalupe River. Modern, unique, and clean cabin/room. The staff were extremely accommodating and gave us the option of checking out late due to ice storm. Will definitely be staying here again.

The location was great! It is close to hiking areas like Canyon Lake Gorge Park. Also it is close to Natural Bridge Caverns and Gruene, TX. The river view is very pretty. We enjoyed having coffee and creamers provided. The coffee was good! We also appreciated the complementary wine to help us celebrate our anniversary! Our TV in the cabin kept turning on and off randomly. The maintenance person came but the issue wasn't resolved. Also, there was a big rain storm and water came into the cabin by the table next to the window. The text messages from the office really helped to keep me updated. We would definitely go back again.

The place is a very nice spot to stay at. We have stayed a few times now. But it could be cleaner the rooms need some dusting and a deep clean.

The landscape beautiful area.

The property itself was nice but it is very noisy at night. I could not get the tv's to work for the 2 days I stayed. I also woke up too 2 roaches in my room. All and all I would probably not stay here again.

The property is so pretty. The cabin was great had the space we needed. Clean cabin which was great.

Beautiful scenery, very clean room, but It was very cold. I don't believe there is a heat source in the room. Also the tub would not drain properly while showering which made the little one slip twice in the tub during the shower.

We came here to celebrate our 25th anniversary and it was perfect. We aim to come back again. Highly recommended.

great view by the river.

We loved the style, cleanliness, and location. The view from our room was beautiful. The amenities were great. Probably the only downside is the traffic on the road can be loud. Luckily we brought a fan from home that drowned out the sound. Also, another thing worth noting is all the stray cats. They don’t meow or bug you but I do feel like people should know there are a lot of cats that come to the porch.

This was our second time visiting, and we’ve fallen in love with this place! The private river access and staff hospitality are amazing perks. We love to sit on the back patio and watch the moon and stars while listening to the sounds of the river and nature. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The walk-in shower was really nice, having excellent water pressure, temperature, and shower head options. Don’t underestimate the luxury of getting a really nice shower after playing in the sun and river all day. Getting a free shuttle every morning to the launch point and tubing back to the property is so fun and convenient! Plenty of local restaurants to visit or order from. Already excited to book our trip back next year!

The property comes with a complimentary tube experience and you float right up ! The room was clean and modern. We loved it!
