It was an ideal location for our visit to Evandale, close to everything we wanted to do and very well presented. The cottage is nicely renovated, it was warm (a must in a Tassie autumn) and quiet.
We didn’t have a lot to do with the owners but found the lady very friendly when we did.
Definitely recommended.

No dryer was inconvenient.
I’d rather pay $10 a night extra when you are travelling to wash and dry your clothes.

We were late arriving and the proprietor arranged access to the premises. The rooms were warm and comfortable. The cottage had a homely feel. The kitchen was well-equipped with matching china. The provision for breakfast was good. The bathroom and shower excellent with plenty of towels if needed. The cottage is a short walk to the shops.

A very comfortable stay in a beautifully renovated cottage with modern amenities in a charming village full of equally wonderful restored buildings. The washing machine was a bonus. Simple breakfast supplies were plentiful.

After a long day we were delighted to open the back door of Arendon Cottage and see our digs for the night. It is so well appointed and comfortable, a perfect place to stay. The gardens are so pretty and it is in the heart of a lovely Tassie village.

5star quality and very good owners.The cottage is in excellent condition with all quality fittings great heating and lighting made for a great stay. Very good breakfast provided and town ship of early period was excellently presented

Arendon is a lovely cottage situated in the village of Evandale.
The cottage is extremely clean with everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is very private with a nice courtyard. Breakfast supplies are provided for length of stay. Karen is a wonderful host and had the heater on for us when we arrived which was very much appreciated. Evandale is a pretty village which we used as our base for exploring North East Tasmania.

I visited the town of Evandale and stayed at beautiful Arendon Cottage, which is situated on the main street. I truly thought this I was the first guest as the house was immaculately clean, especially the bathroom and kitchen. The owners were so polite and very kind. I would definitely recommend Arendon Cottage to all my friends.

Lovely cosy house with fantastic amenities. The wonderful host had the heater running when we arrived on a cold night, which was really welcoming. Wish we could have stayed longer as the place was really comfortable and beautiful. Highly recommended

An excellent stay, hosts couldn’t have prepared the cottage better. Provisions for both breakfast s included. Excellent laundry facility and drying area. Close to all town had to offer. Recommended for a delightful stay. Good wifi.

Needed a cab to the airport at 4AM and when cab I scheduled didn't show up, Karen got me a cab within 3 minutes. Thanks Karen!!

Beautiful property in the main street. Quiet at night, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, brand new bathroom, everything you need. Walking distance to all the interesting shops in this cute village.

Beautifully restored heritage cottage, very tastefully decorated with all the modern comforts and generous breakfast provisions. The cottage is right in the centre of the beautiful little town. Lovely friendly hosts made our stay a delight.

We enjoyed Arendon Cottage so much and also loved the surrounding area of Evandale. The self contained cottage itself was charming and very well equipped with all that was needed for a restful visit. We also were able to continue our historic research of an ancestor which made the visit extra special.

The cottage is centrally located and within walking distance to the sites of the town. The cordage was very clean and comfortable, as were the beds. The hosts were delightful.

We spent one night at Arendon Cottage, we found it very clean and convenient to all facilities in Evandale. It has been recently renovated and painted, has a well appointed kitchen, laundry and Bathroom. The owner is very friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay and will be booking again.

Arendon cottage was the the best accommodation I stayed for the past two weeks in both Melbourne and Tasmania. Only 20km away from the downtown of Launceston and 5km from the airport. It was a comfortable cottage with provision of good cooking facitities and breakfast pack.

Having stopped in two major Hotels and a modern motel this establishment was a lovely surprise. Clean, neat cottage tucked away in a small village , centrally located in Tasmania and handy to main airport at Launceston. The cottage was spacious and had all the facilities for comfortable self contained living, The host was delightful and friendly,
