Check in was smooth and I was offered a complimentary bottle of fresh milk for making tea in my room - that was a lovely touch! A great, well-run motel with excellent facilities. The only downside is that the mattress was rock hard and I didn’t get much sleep because of that - otherwise the Oval Motel

I’ve stayed at this venue half a dozen times over the last couple of years & have always enjoyed the stay. However, I am now disappointed with the property. Reception answered my phone enquiry with “hello” & I had to ask if this was the Oval Motel? - not professional service. The receptionist is a VERY heavy smoker & this was very evident when signing in. Finally, the linen in my Studio had the faint smell of cigarette smoke, potentially from a smoker having handled the linen - very disappointing. I’m sorry to say I probably won’t stay again.

Couch a bit dirty. The folding bed was hard to get out of wardrobe. Microwave plate was not turning. The rest pf the cabin was pleasant and clean.

Great little cabin. I liked that they had little dispensers for body/hand wash, shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream and moisturizer! We were even given a little bottle of milk on arrival. Beds were soft and cosy. Plenty of pillows. Loved our stay.

The cottage was great for a family of 4. We liked that it was detached. The staff were so kind and lovely, you could see they were set on ensuring everyone had a nice stay. Would definitely stay again.
