Quite dated, bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Missing a strip on vertical blind - had to put ironing board on window ledge to stop people from being able to see into the room

Fridge froze all our food , mattress old ,iron did not work , sink plug stuck down would not drain

I actually didn’t have a reservation and just popped in to check if a room was available. The friendliness of the owners and willingness to go the extra mile to accommodate me was out standing. The food was beautiful and staff approachable, capable and attentive. The room l had, had been recently updated and was clean and comfortable. Had everything that was needed for my stay. A creek walk is not far from motel that leads to town. A lovely walk after a beautiful meal. Would definitely stay there again..

Place is very dated 4 star rating is questionable Bunch of drop kicks partying on upstairs loudly 3 am. You get what you pay for I guess

When paying 150 AUD, then I honestly expect better amenities/room. The place was fine. No problem there. I usually pick budget accommodation and don't care too much. I just think that this place is too expensive compared to what you get.

Fantastic spot, our room had a close-up view of the pier & the ocean sunset was magnificent. Really nice building too, and in a great location.

I stayed overnight to participate in a community event in the morning. While the room was compact and comfortable which made for a good base to explore the city centre, the shower varied a little too much between hot and cold due to others using it. Was hoping to checkout a little later than 10am, but did not feel as welcome to as I did in previous visits This may have been due to the hotel being busy, Will definitely stay again due to the convenience.

The room was small but very well mainrained and spotlessly clean. The ladt on receotion was very welcoming and helpful.

Room was clean but no cupboards or draws for cutlery, microwave very noisy and very low wattage. Loose tapware in bathroom basin. Noisy all night long.

The cleanliness of the room was outstanding.

Great place to stay, walking distance to the town centre and some local attractions. Parking a large car would be a little challenging if the carpark was full but we were fine. The facilities were great, clean and staff were very friendly.

Very dated but clean, good hot water pressure but no extractor fan. noisy fridge. Door hit bed on entry and toilet is on weird angle? Needs a revamp as very dated.

Good budget accommodation in a central location

Hotel was fine to stay in. I was charged twice for the room by accident and it took 2 weeks of calls and emails to get a refund. They eventually came through.

Great location for an overnight stay. RSL Club a short walk away.

I visited Mount Gambier to participate in a community event, and stayed overnight at the Grand Central which was conveniently located around the corner. Check-in was easy. Just had to show photo id to collect my keys. Upon booking I had requested a later stay so I could freshen up after the event, which was remembered and accepted during checkin with no problems. The downstairs room was quiet and peaceful with all the facilities you expect from a motel. Parking was easy with the building next door providing additional space. The location is central to the main shopping districts and the Cave Gardens, and a short drive to the other local tourist highlights.

Comfortable budget motel with slightly dated shower. Would’ve been nice to have a microwave or similar. Was very easy to hear neighbouring rooms due to a thin door but other than that a comfortable stay
