Always clean and tidy, staff are great and the pub is just up the road for a good meal.

Also lack of a vanity basin in bathroom means using kitchenette sink to wash hands and no mirror for shaving? Good friendly people running this motel which appears to be more an accomodation place for travelling workers than a tourist motel.

Spur of the moment late booking due to work - staff waited up until I arrived just before 10pm - so appreciated. Friendly and helpful. On the side of the river was nice to wake up to and quick walk before heading off. Room was clean and comfortable. THANK YOU

The property location is excellent for Tweed or Kingscliff area. River across the road beautiful afternoon walks. Its simple, clean and practical.

Great place for a night or 2, all you need was there
Quiet place and great morning walk on the river. We had or take away dinner on the river by sunset!

Got there grandkids to look after the place while they went away on holidays with the money they took from me in cash is how they wanted it and a lot that was addressed from me they either didnt fix or know how to do this will never stay there again as they are atrocious on the whole motel

Paperwork says gym, sauna, breakfast delivred to room. Can not find gym, sauna, no breakfast was delivered.

Very basic for the price compared to other places I've stayed. There were only 2 towels when the room was booked for 3 people. There were no toiletries such as shampoo etc - only bar off soap provided. The bathroom surprisingly didn't have a basin - had to use the stainless steel sink in the kitchenette part of the room. Sorry to say I wouldn't stay there again or recommend it. Disclaimer: Apparently the usual owners/ operators were away on holidays and someone else was running it for them.

Lovely location on the river, nice and quiet. Walking distance to pub nearby for dinner. Friendly staff, clean rooms. I have stayed here a few times and would happily stay again :-)

The bed and pillows meant we didn’t sleep well and really tainted our stay. My wife ended up not using the pillow through the night as it was just too high and was hurting her neck. I tried to just sleep on my side to look after my neck but still woke up sore. The bed was very romantic as we seemed to end up in the middle due to the dip. There was no basin in the bathroom so we had to share the bathroom and kitchen duties together and the shower head was one of the needle style water saver that you just wanted to get away from. No internet offered or milk on checkin. Nice enough people but they must do it tough.

We stayed overnight at Chinderah Motel in unit one. The motel was older in style - spacious and well maintained. It was clean and self contained (tea and coffee making facilities as well as chips, glasses, cutlery and plates - all mixed matched and only one wine glass). Our problem was that the air-conditioner couldn't complete with the heat in the room generated from the western sun hitting the external wall. Only became cooled well after sun set. Otherwise a nice location in suburbia/near caravan parks on the Tweed River.

The room was spacious and quiet. The bed was comfortable and clean, but the toilet was dirty and the sink was outside the bathroom in the room.
