Cottages are as advertised, comfortable and near the beach and restaurants are in walking distance.

Property manager, Tony, was great. The place is not new but has great character and history. Across the street from the beach and walking distance to anything and everything. Great energy. We had a very nice stay.

This is an absolutely charming property with a low-key vibe, great for families, couples and our pets! Seems properties in the older style cottage in FLA are becoming few and far between--and it is refreshing and so nice to have a place like cozy cottages to fill this gap. Loved it for our needs!

Very cozy has every thing you need. A block feom the beach. MATTRESS & PILLOWS WERE CONFY. just need to get a platfoem beds instead of frame

A nice small home within a 1 minute walk to the beach. We had our own parking spot and the people are very friendly and helpful. A little out dated but this did not bother us. Place was very clean and welcoming. We enjoyed this place and will be back.

The ad for this place is decieving. The cottages are over 100 years old and look it. Many safety hazards. Railings that were broken and had nails sticking out. Inside needed a lot of TLC. The floors are not level, in our bathroom the shower/tub had cracks in it, so my guess the water was running under the cottage and not completely down the drain. As far as sleeping, the queen size bed was so soft (no support), so when you wake in the morning, both you and your spouse would be stuck in a hole. Also it was pushed up against one wall, so one of you had to climb out the end of the bed. Cleanliness was not a priority I guess. Very dusty. The front door could be pushed right open, so not secure at all. When we arrived at the property, no one there to give us directions. Yes, it states that 24-48 hrs before they will send you an email with instructions. Failed. No instructions and not a sole to contact. Called Hotels.com and they at least tried to call the owners. When we got a hold of someone to give us an assigned cottage, they blamed Hotels.com for not sending the email.. everytime we arrived back at our cottage, random people would be parked in our parking place. I think I'll end there. No I would not recommend this place at all.

Cute cottages old Florida feel . They are updating and our cottage had updates in place . It was comfortable , clean and quiet . Easy access to beach and the people were friendly and helpful !

Older property could use updates, lots of room in our 2 bedroom cottage 16. Just across from beach. We were there to visit family at another property so it was all we needed. If you need room at a low price and don’t care about amenities or fancy fixtures it’s a great place. I would stay again!

I like that it is totally laid back, and it was cleaner this time. Last time, it wasn’t very clean.

My initial impression was not a good one. The cabins look very run down from The outside and just as bad inside. The property owner was not there, so I had to call. She seemed confused and directed me to get the keys from the housekeeper who was in the cabin we were staying in. No paperwork, I'D check, nothing. The cabins are pre WWII and it shows. Electrical sockets were loose, no exhaust fan in the bathroom, there were 2 doors that led to the laundry areas that were blocked off but still made us feel uneasy, a door rhat led to the patio that was blocked off, ceiling fan, air conditioners and blinds were filthy, floors uneven, furniture very well worn, kitchen advertised as fully stocked yet barely had proper cooking utensils, garbage disposal didn't work. On the plus side, it's within walking distance to the beach, a cafe and some shops, it's in close proximity to many costal communities and activities, the beds are comfy and a wonderful shower. For the price we paid, we expected a nicer property. We were highly disappointed and will not be returning.

While the location is wonderful, the cottages are very rundown. The place had trash and was junky looking. We had a huge tar holder tight outside of our place. The cottage was clean and ok inside. The couch was pretty dirty and we did not want to sit on it. We went to the office to advise them that our smoke alarm batteries had died. In 3 days they were not replaced. That is dangerous.

The area is great, a pedestrian walkway just a short walk to the beach, some of our favorite restaurants (Keegans!!) 5 minutes away, Publix 4-5 miles away. We enjoyed our time at Sunshine Cozy cottages. Had a good experience. Able to walk to beach.
