Fabulous stay in this lovely hotel with everything we needed and more.

Tavistock House Hotel may be small but, so classy. Attention to detail in bed and public rooms, second to none. I especially appreciated fresh milk for my tea, rear car park and it overlooks the tennis courts so is quiet but close to the town centre.

The room was exceptionally clean . The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was incredibly delicious.

What a superb place to stay. Everything was just perfect including an amazing breakfast. Parking is so easy at the rear of the hotel and all the local shops and bars are just a 5 minute walk away. The owners are very friendly and make for a top stay 👏

Beautiful high-end hotel. Tasteful decor and very clean. Comfortable bed and equipped with beverages, fudge, biscuits, water and fresh milk! Close to town centre where there are plenty of places to eat. Travelling alone on business. Will definitely plan my next trip to the South West around Tavistock so that I can come back!

I had a fantastic stay at Tavistock House. My room was very comfortable and I had everything I needed. The owners are extremely kind and hospitable and the breakfast was excellent. The furnishings are modern and simple. The hotel was much better than I expected even though I had read other very positive reviews. Highly recomended.

Well worthy of the 10/10 rating. Immaculate and characterful property, with friendly and welcoming owner. I had to leave early for work one morning before breakfast, I was greeted with a great take bag with breakfast goodies, they go the extra mile, would highly recommend.

Brad and Gil were fabulous. I was greeted with a big smile and welcomed by Brad he is outgoing confident and makes you feel at home. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I stayed in the the king deluxe en-suite decoration and interior was superb. I thought the goody box of treats which include ‘biscuits’ ‘hot chocolate’ tea/coffee was a nice touch. The breakfast and lunch was superb I will certainly be coming back this is the ONLY place I will stay when visiting Plymouth - Omar brown

The entire experience was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located, the furnishings are lovely and the staff is outstanding. If your travels bring you to Tavistock, this is a wonderful place to stay.

Breakfast excellent and they had alternatives to milk if required. The hosts are very friendly. It was nice to be able to park in their private car park. Now we have found this little gem we will definitely be back as soon as we can

Stay was great. Really friendly owners, well decorated, cozy room. In room facilities were also great, lovely Tea's and Coffee's available during stay. Breakfast was well prepared and very tasty. I would recommend to any and everyone.

Bradley the owner couldn't have done anymore to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel has been refurbished to an excellent standard and is one of the nicer hotels i have stayed in over the last few years. Rooms are spacious, bed is very comfortable, shower is a rainfall type and large, and there are plenty of the usual amenities in the room to keep you comfortable and entertained. Breakfast was also very good and with the current Covid environment the table service was comparable to a top restaurant. Needless to say that i will stay here again.
