Not quite up to the Quirk standards--fitness machines (all three of them) were broken, coffee maker didn't work (and was dirty), safe was locked.

Mattress was hard, shower had a glob of hair in it we had to have them reclean it.
We received a note the kitchen was closed unexpectedly for brunch , no room service
David the valet was the best thing about the hotel. Over priced lots of hype they need to get some good management perhaps. Good place for a roof top bar drink or cocktail to see the pretty lobby. Would not stay there again.

Excellent service, beautiful lobby and lots of historic charm. Our concierge, Ivy, was very helpful and accommodating. Parking is at a premium which was the only downfall.

Not a very kid friendly hotel but if you didn’t have kids it’s a great spot. A little on the fancier side. You will hear EVERYTHING in your room at night. From the street to the sound machine in the room next to you. Other than that very clean & reasonably priced.

Everything at this hotel from food and drinks to parking is expensive. A man was stabbed outside while I was walking on the sidewalk right next to the hotel. Valet takes forever to fetch my vehicle. They made me late for meetings. Had to ask where my vehicle was every morning after requesting 30-40 min before. Won’t stay again. It’s cute, but probably just good for having a weekend brunch.

It was very nice ,the atmosphere was very nice , the decor and the valet parking was very nice but if you do not do valet parking, there is no parking available really that’s the only downfall about the hotel for me.

The hotel was clean and quiet, the roof top bar was a perfect place to unwind in the evening with excellent city views. The only issue we had was with the valet - there was no valet to be found when we arrived and waited for several minutes before finding a city lot to park in.

Great place to stay with an amazing atmosphere and location. The penthouse suites with patios and easy access to the roof are and bar are spacious and have great views of the city. Highly recommend.

This was a nice unique hotel to stay. It’s very modern but not new for sure. I liked the decor for sure but was really disappointed in valet car & no one available to get it for me at 6:30a and having to walk to get my own car in a place I did not know made me feel uneasy. If you are going to offer and charge for valet they should be able to get your car when you need it. Thank youn

Amazing hotel. Quirky and fun. Quiet and large rooms that were spotless. Wonderful restaurant downstairs. We stayed for our anniversary and would recommend. Would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel overall. Great location in terms of proximity to VCU. The towels were a little thin and the insulation not good for a high end hotel. Also, too bright. No way to make it darker in the room. Beds were creaky.

AC did not work & could not be fixed. We had to change rooms. We spent 20 minutes trying to get to the roof as there are no instructions posted. Music was too loud to watch fireworks. We couldn't talk and got headaches and had to leave. Everything else was great.

Wonderful stay at the Quirk, the hotel was beautiful and the accommodations were excellent. Hope to return soon to experience more of the offerings like the Coffee Bar and the Quirk Gallery

Great stay! The hotel was amazing and the gallery art was so fun and thought provoking! Loves the sustainability with the reverse osmosis water filtration system! Rooftop bar had great views! Bed were fabulously comfy! Morning coffee delish! And go for the egg sando for breakfast; the croissant was so delectable! Totally would stay here again!

Arrived at 5 pm and the room I reserved was not ready. They gave me another room, but it was not the room I reserved. I opened the fridge in the room to place a bottle of water in it. There was an old, half eaten salad in it. Valet staff was excellent, but front desk staff (based on 3-4 interactions were ok, but not especially friendly.
