The event was nicely done on Saturday. Love the mansion. Drinks were very difficult to get, longs lines, not enough staff or areas to get a drink.
There was a very crabby man who seemed to be in charge. He was appropriate and keeping order but could have been much more personable and friendly. He was very rude.

The room itself was not great. Fan did not work, tv offered nothing (pairing to our device did not work), bed was mushy and not comfortable and there was a bad potpourri type odor in the room. In all, I do not feel the price per night was worth it. However, we did enjoy our time in Lake Geneva.

Rooms were nice and the service was great. Only down fall nothing available for breakfast. Would suggest fresh pastries or something for the morning. Was disappointed the speak easy wasn’t open on Sunday of a holiday weekend. They said only open Thur-Saturday.

Unique and interesting place to stay. Had a lot of character. Atmosphere was fun and different. The room was immaculate and super cute. Would stay here again!!! Great location and the employees were very friendly and helpful!

The people were friendly and the place was clean. The main house and bars were a sight to see.
That said, the room was small, the wood furniture had gouges and chunks were
missing, the bathroom was tiny, and the shower overflowed. There was no mini fridge, the walls were thin, and the neighbors were loud, drunkenly yelling at 1 am. The bed was creaky and definitely not meant to suit anyone of bigger size.
Maybe my expectations weren't realistic, but for the price paid and the rating of the location, we expected our stay to be better than our stay at a normal hotel that's a third of the price.

First time staying at the property. We loved the room and everything about the resort. Meghan the bartender was great and personable - she knew her stuff.
Check in was perfect. Cant wait to stay in the summertime and enjoy more of the outdoor amenities.

Room was very clean, comfortable, and convenient. The bartenders at the speakeasy deserve a shout out as they where top tier professionals. We had a nice time and are glad we chose the Maxwell Mansion. You will remember your stay.

The young lady that checked us in went out of her way to help me find pick-up service. It was not possible the first day, but she came back to us the following day offering her service in the company golf cart. We enjoyed the leisure very much with the smaller crowds on Monday (Labor Day).

For the amount of money the room cost we were dissatisfied with not having a refrigerator in the room. What if I needed to cool medicine or buy chocolate or fudge or anything that would melt.

It was in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.

Very nice stay at the Maxwell. The Stables are very cool w/ the Steam unit and Country Chic vibe. On-site bar and outdoor areas are nice but could use a bit of upkeep. Bed was very comfortable. Would consider staying here again if I wanted a nice overnight in Lake Geneva area. Hotel is within walking distance of shopping, restaurants and the lake.

Physically it is charming with the main house and rooms kept in the 1850's style with modern conveniences.

Really great, unique hotel. It is an amazing setting with its historic buildings and style. The decor in the room is great and well done. The amenities are great even though we didn’t use all of them. There was even an evening concert and the overall ambiance of the hotel is beautiful. My only complaint is it is easy to hear people in the rooms and there was some people after quiet hours being loud outside.
