I just didn't agree with a parking fee although it was easy parking well lit. Overall, it was a good stay, pool and hot tub was available, kids had fun. Bar was available too. It was quiet, peaceful. People and staff were friendly.

This hotel was surprisingly very nice! The pool was still open at 10 so my 3 year old could swim and get her wiggles out after a long day on the road. There is not much around the hotel, but other than that it was very nice.

Disappointed to see that the hotel is now charging for parking which seems unreasonable in such a small town with plenty of land. I could only set the AC thermostat in my room to 68, and no lower, so the room took a long time to cool and never really felt as comfortably cool as I prefer.

Our timing was bad, we got in late, so most amenities were closed, but they have a bar. Becareful what you ask for, she will snap at you for a mixed drink if it is not a simple one. How was I to know she had no lemon, that is a bar staple. We ordered 4 drinks, $78. I understand why the bar was empty. She wore a t-shirt and looked like she had been asked to cover some one and had 2 minutes to get to wok. I am sorry, if I pay top shelf prices for bottom shelf alcohol, the bartender should dress appropriately. At least then the bill won't be as shocking. We did not argue we paid and went to our room OH and they CHARGE for parking, even if you park over by the McDonald's. Wow!

Room was clean and service good. Bed was a bit soft and tweaked my back.

I checked in online and had received a text that the room was ready. One gal at the front desk was on the phone. After a few minutes another gal came out and started helping us. She then answered a call and started talking about something to the other gal who started yelling to the customer on the other line. How totally unprofessional and rude. I had to tell the gal that was helping me that I had checked in online before she found our reservation. The drawer in our nightstand kept coming out on its own so my husband put a wedge to keep it from c9ming out at night so we didn’t tear the nightstand off the wall when we went to the bathroom in the dark. Elevator barely worked when we got there and both were broken in the morning. So disappointed in our stay.

MANAGER KAREN WAS THE MOST RUDEST PERSON I HAVE EVER MET! I LEFT ACCIDENTALY LEFT BEHIND MY CURLING IRON AND BLOW DRYER AT THE HOTEL ! I CALLED THEN CALLED FRONT DESK AND WAS ADVISED THERE WASN'T ANYTHING LEFT BEHIND ! THE ONLY OPTION LEFT WAS THAT THE HOUSEKEEPING STOLE MY THINGS! DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS STINKY HOTEL HOTEL RUN BY THIEVES . IF YOU DO PLEASE PLEASE LEAVE YOUR VALUEABLES SOMEWHERE ELSE!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO DISRESPECTFULY ESPECIALLY SINCE I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL MEMEBER OF MARRIOT CLUB FOR YEARS!

I’m not a complainer, but I would not recommend staying here. I’ve never stayed in Ft. Stockton before, but the hotel recommendations are usually spot on, and this one rated high. We checked into our room, and had 30 minutes before the pool closed, so I had my kids throw on their suits, and we ran downstairs. The family that was there, left right before us, and 4 young men walked by, and they were making inappropriate comments through the fence and were circling the area, and it was really unsettling, and if they hadn’t left, I was going to call the front desk and ask for someone to come out. The pool area is separate from the hotel. We get back up to the room, and my kids were going to shower, and the bathroom door wouldn’t stay open, there were several places where the wallpaper had been taken off and haphazardly put back on, the bathroom was dirty, there was a weird stain on the carpet floor, and we pulled the sheets back and there was a blood stain in the bed. I will say that Karen (real name, not me being mean) at the front desk was very apologetic and helpful, and moved us to another room, brought our keys up and looked at the things I mentioned, and validated that it was not OK. Our new room was clean, and did not look rundown like the other room, but the walls are really thin, so when our neighbors got up at 4am, we heard everything going on, from kids jumping around, to the TV being loud, and doors slamming. Super nice staff, but not a great experience for us.

For the few hours we stayed just to sleep as we passed through the room was clean, quite, spacious, and met expectations. Only problem was there was no caddy for bags available. Staff does not inform guests to not keep in rooms. So had to make several trips to brings bags in from top storage of car.

Loved the room, very spacious. The room was cool after driving in 102 degrees.

The hotel was clean, night staff was great. Unfortunately, the bed was too firm for me, linens thin and worn, bathroom light flickered. Breakfast was below standards for other hotels in area we have stayed. Overall a disappointing stay.
