We had an amazing first time visiting for our Anniversary. The house has so much character and is simply amazing. We LOVED Nancy. She gave us great suggestions on where to go out at nights and we also enjoyed yummy conversations and breakfasts everyday. She is a 1 of a kind! We can’t want to go back!!

Nancy was so accommodating. I left my hat there and she over-nighted it the very next day. The mansion is clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed my stay.

The Gage Mansion is absolutely beautiful! The service is exceptional and the room was much bigger than I thought! The bedding was the most comfortable I honestly have ever experienced. The only downfall is that I could not take it home with me! I will definitely be back and hopefully soon.

What a beautiful place! It truly is a mansion! Loved the artwork, the woodwork of the interior, the coziness of the rooms, and the overall charm of the building. Seems like a place trapped in time, but still with several modern amenities such as the HD TV in the room and the remote controlled fan and AC unit.

The innkeeper Nancy was beyond accommodating and hospitable. She made us feel at home and welcome. We did not know the area and she gave us many recommendations to go visit and dine. We will return if the opportunity arises!

The BandB is gorgeous, the innkeeper so friendly and helpful, convenient, the food was great and ample, and the whole inn was so clean and well maintained. But I gave it a 3 rating overall because of two things- the train woke us up every half hour throughout the night because we are not used to noise at night and it had to blow the whistle at the nearby intersection every time the train travels past - and that was frequent. Thing two was that our beautiful room shared a door with the abutting room and that person had their TV on very loud and we could hear every word. We had to go over to ask her to turn it down which she obliged a little- which helped a little- but still not great. I just think a place as serene as this shouldn’t necessarily have tvs in every room and have the option of protected quiet rooms, or tv only in the common space.

We stayed for a night at the Gage Mansion in August while moving our son into Penn State. It’s about a 45 minute drive but all of the local hotels were booked. We chose Gage b/c of its beauty and historical significance. We were not disappointed. The home is just gorgeous, well decorated, very clean. We arrived well past normal checkin. The after hours checkin was very straightforward and there was fresh water for us to take to our room. The room matched the pictures online. The caretaker, Nancy, is so very friendly and a fantastic cook! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast served in a beautiful ‘dining room’ at our appointed time; we at with two other couples…a nice way to start the day. Oh, and coffee is available anytime, right near the fresh water. The grounds are also beautiful, with several outdoor seating options. The property is tucked in amongst other buildings so it’s not a ‘country getaway’..just FYI. All in all, strong recommendation for the Gage.

Cozy place. Ladies were nice and welcoming. Train noise not far from the place. Otherwise check in and out and breakfast were all easy and great.

The Gage Mansion is very clean and beautiful. It has been nicely restored. Huntingdon PA is a relatively small town for us but its location open-end up many opportunities for sightseeing within 45 minutes. We did find many places in town to enjoy as well.

The Gage Mansion is stunning and I highly recommend a stay here if you enjoy bed and breakfast. I love Victorian era house and this place did not let me down! Absolute beautiful! The bed is so comfortable and the furniture pieces are fitting and thought out well. As this is an older home it is not too loud, meaning walking on the old floors. There is a wonderful outside sitting area.
