View of the ocean was amazing and staff was also amazing

Great experience, very clean, easy sign in and out.

Reservation and check in process was very good. On site service was very helpful. Biggest negative is there are no elevators. A third floor room is a real struggle for a couple in their 70’s. Thanks to a neighboring guest, we managed. TV offers no major network programming in its hundreds of options.

Location is excellent with a great view of Cape Hatteras lighthouse, however, this area lacks in dining options, so it is VERY beneficial to take advantage of rooms/condos with kitchens. The rooms are clean with lovely beach decor, however, the king size beds are not the most comfortable (bc my bed at home is ridiculously comfortable, so I'm spoiled) and the rooms could really use a small table and 2 chairs for eating or card/game playing. There are no elevators at this accommodation so plan accordingly if you need an accessible room (there are no ground floor rooms, this is very well stated in all correspondence and in many places when booking . The pool and hot tub are clean and well maintained. There were no ice bucket liners in any of our rooms and some toiletry amenities were missing in a couple of our rooms. We also, never physically met with or saw an office person, but we didn't seek then our either. They use a coded door system instead of keys and they email/text the door codes ahead of your stay. For in season stays I felt the price was decent. Overall, it's a cozy little place to stay and a good value. Being oceanfront was a huge bonus!

Right on the beach. Cleaning staff was amazing at removing sand from floor after coming back from the beach. Didn’t even have to go to the office to check in…instead got a room key-in code by text before arrival. Communicated with office by text messages afterward, and they were always very friendly. Would definitely come back!

Comfortable, clean. Love being right on the beach. Elevators would be nice after toting 2 toddlers luggage up and down the stairs several time a day...but I know that's a big ask. But we would come back to this spot! The pool was great too.

We absolutely loved this hotel! Check in was simple, staff was kind & helpful. So relaxing. Bed was a little hard for my taste but otherwise, everything was amazing!!

Awesome and beautiful place!

Very nice right on the beach. Perfect view of the sunrise and sunset. Local pizza was great. Enjoyed our stay. Although the sunrise will wake you because the Venetian blinds did not block out the light.

Place was clean but out dated and small. Location was great! Beach and pool were excellent!

The room was spacious and very very clean. Everything was handled through texting for check in and out which was convenient. Loved the private beach access and the pool/hot tub. My husband and I will for sure be back!

Overall, decent location and close to several places to eat. The room (322) was clean and well stocked with cookware, utensils, etc; even though we didn't cook during our stay. However, the photo of the ocean for this unit (322) was very misleading. It looked as though we had a better view and more privacy than what we actually had since our unit was in the corner of the building. We would stay again, but would make sure we had a 2nd floor unit due to all the steps we had to climb.

The room was the by far the best for any stay by the beach we’ve had. Room was very clean, bed was super comfy.

Right on the ocean! The front desk manager was fantastic, very nice and helpful. No elevator, so be prepared to carry luggage up stairs. Easy access to a beautiful beach, literally right outside the door.

Cleanliness, decor of rooms, friendly helpful staff, great view of ocean

Staff was helpful and friendly. I went to the office upon arrival and requested an extra set of towels, (as it was pouring outside) which they gladly provided. However, when housekeeping came the next morning, they did not replace the dirty towels that they collected from my room. So I went to the office again, and again, was provided an extra set of towels. The following morning, same thing, housekeeping did not replace what they collected. Minor inconvenience, but inconvenience regardless. Also, beach directly behind hotel was closed for 3/10 mile, and lighthouse is under renovation. Not the hotel's fault by any means, but prob would've stayed elsewhere had I known this prior to booking.

Very clean ocean front property. The boom of the ocean was amazing to hear day and night. Would definitely stay here again.

I made this reservation last minute as an add-on to another trip. I was not as detailed as I usually am but I don’t feel all of the trouble was my fault. I am handicapped, unable to climb stairs so one of my search engines was “first floor or elevator”—you guessed it. Fifth floor with no elevator. And we arrived at 11:30 pm and after midnight by the time we found the right address on the fifth floor to our POOLSIDE apartment. When I told management that I thought “poolside” meant by the pool, I was lectured that ocean view meant by the ocean and poolside means a pool view and bayside etc. This is not the way I manage our travels but I still suggest that, using a search engine for ground floor and receiving a “poolside room” suggested, that all of the resulting trauma was not on my shoulders.

Great place and very clean room nice location …… I do have 1 recommendation the steps to rooms need to have safety strips on them to help people with low vision issues

Nice all around, grounds are touch for mobility impaired people.
