Everything was perfect...just one minor detail...no air conditioning in any of the rooms...they only provide a fan...the room gets very very hot at all times...they need to have at least a portable a/c or something better than a fan...other than that it was all excellent

I have never written a negative review before now, but I had such a frustrating experience I feel it is important to share. As a seasoned global traveler, rarely have I witnessed such a disorganized state of affairs as I found in Hotel Casa Santa Domingo. A warning to all travelers who need to use their room on the day that this hotel cannot provide a smooth transition between its rooms - even when you have paid an extra $194 for an upgrade to ensure it. I was forced out of my room promptly at noon and not given access to my new room until after 3 pm. I was offered the bustling hotel entrance for my private Zoom meeting as there was no quiet place to offer me when I needed it most, including my own room. I only paid the upgrade to be in a better room thinking it would be a smooth transition. Had I known I would be evicted at noon, I never would have paid it. Won’t be making the mistake of upgrading here again. On a more positive note, the property is a museum

The weather was bad raining like crazy. Start at 5 am and stop like at 11:00 am. I had tp purchase one more night at the hotel.

this hotel is very 80s, a bit worn around the edges and junky even, there is a pool table in the lobby and one of those awful fake suites of armor, the art is very 80s but of the three hotels I have stayed in this trip do to availability because of Holy Week this is the one I would stay in again.

A long awaited trip to visit family. 30 years in the making. Great place and near everything. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my Wife and Sister and even up grated the room free. Great restaurant in the hotel and flowers everywhere. Will recommend. I.L.I. I Love It…… I must commend the staff that made that place one of the best overall and I have being in 23 countries. I.L.I.

The hotel didn't have a/c so we asked for a fan. You can open the windows because the temperature was lovely. But it's annoying because of the sound of the cars. The rest was ok, the pool wasn't available during my stay

Horrible noise all night until 3 am each night. No A/C so I couldn’t close the windows. Double edge sword close the window and burn up or open to the all the noise.

Adjoining restaurant knocked on our door at 11 pm to retrieve the wine glass from earlier, which was a bit strange since we didn't tell them our room number. Overall, a decent and safe place though.

It is a good hotel, the restaurants are very good, the food is excellent and the personal is very friendly. I recommend this hotel for your next trip to Popayan.

Restaurant needs etiquette review, we ordered our food at the same time at our table, each plate came about 15-20 apart- awkward dinner party as a result. Food was great but timing needs some adjustment.

The service was excellent by all. The people went above and beyond my expctations. When there was no one that dspoke English they used a translator they had on the computer. Most times their was someone there that spoke English. The breakfast was very good and better than I expected. The people in the kitchen, security, desk and all were friendly and eager to assist.

There was no air flow in the room and a loud party went on until 3:30 in the morning. Got little sleep.

The hotel is finished to a high standard and most certainly by Colombian hotel standards. The rooms are clean and appropriately equipped. There are LED TVs in the rooms with a good cable / satellite service. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Included in the price is breakfast. The breakfast itself is the best I have had in hotels of all classes in Colombia. You can certainly fill up for the day on the breakfast. The hotel management addresses issues immediately and to my complete satisfaction.
