The room was very outdated, but it was comfortable and everyone on staff was friendly.

We love the old buildings, the scenery and the breakfast. Our room got rather cold though and the walls were paper thin in the lettered rooms area of the presidential inn. It was beautiful but may want to stay in the Maine in instead next time. Still had a lot of great features. Felt like a privilege to be allowed in that beautiful old building

First I don't give perfect scores as there is always room for improvements. Our room was exactly as described. Very clean and if you needed anything all you had to do was ask and they would take care of it. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Well priced. Amenities were as advertised and more. Beautiful resort.

We had a very nice room. Nothing fancy, but it was concordance and clean and a great price. Everyone was super friendly!

This property was fair. The bed was comfortable and the staff was nice. However the room lacked a table and chairs for eating and the decor is very outdated. We signed a paper stating the charge for dogs was $20 per pet, yet the check in clerk said they had to charge $25 per pet because the form was old. Check in papers said there would be complimentary coffee in the main lobby each morning but we didn’t see it. I give this location a “meh”. Was ok for what we paid but likely will not be back.

it was a beautiful area and staff was very helpful and polite, but unfortunately, the room that I got the bathroom was dirty. There was old soap. Leftover toilet wasn’t clean and the pullout bed did not have any sheets or pillows.i had to call to get them an pull out bed smelled bad an I had to but my handicap child on that. Just glad that the staff that brought me the sheets brought a few so I can cover it good

Historic property on the golf course. Dated but it gives it appeal. Cant beat the price.

No elevator. I am disabled. The hotel could not accommodate me for a first floor or in a building with an elevator. I did call after I made the reservation to see what could be done. Nothing.

Rooms are very dated and in need of a makeover. Staff is friendly and courteous. Like a throwback to the 1950’s.

This place is a hidden gem. It was very clean and has a ton of activities on premises. Would love to spend a week or two here just relaxing.

The front desk employees were amazing very friendly and helpful, the room was good, bed was comfortable the only issue was there were things under the bed our dog kept finding and bringing out no trash but kids small toys and the dogs just wanted to play with them besides that everything was great

I am blaming this on Exp3dia. When we booked they did not show that it was not on the "main grounds" but rather when we arrived we learned we were booked at " The Lodge" down the road from the main property. This was disappointing because the whole reason we had booked here was the beaustiful pictures of the grounds. We drove to the Lodge qnd the lady was very helpful in changing our reservation. booled

Attended the Sabbathday Lake Shaker National Conference and Poland Spring was a natural fit. It's comfortable and close to Sabbathday Lake. Staff were pleasant and accomadating.

Older building but could use some updating and housekeeping needs to be aware of bookings- no sheets, pillows or bed sheets on hideaway and room was booked with 4 people.

I booked through Expedia at a certain price then when I received confirmation it was $ 20 more per night. I spoke with Manager Sue by phone and she stated she will honor Expedia price upon check in. I arrived and she wouldn't. So Poland Spring Resort will not honor Expedia's pricing.

The only thing I would comment on is that bathroom should have handicap bars because the toilet is low.

I checked in at night time and it was very difficult to figure out and find the correct building to check in at

A beautiful, clean complex. Lots to do, delicious food, yummy drinks. I will def stay here again and bring my family. I traveled alone. I felt safe. The resort is 35 minutes to Portland airport, which I had an early flight hence my stay.

Meh. I know its on the national historic register but it needs updating. Carpets need cleaning and they need more of an explanation on site restaurants and buffets.

The staff at Poland Spring Resort were pleasant and Mel’s Hilltop Restaurant was a great value with a beautiful view of the golf course. We really enjoyed our burgers, fries & local beer selection.

No coffee in the room, no milk for coffee in breakfast area, no breakfast, office opens at 8 AM nobody there even at 9 AM when we left, no wifi , TV screen so dirty I'm surprised you could even see a picture, two different places to stay but not indicated on hotels.com and we got put in the worst one .

Clean, quaint, basic rooms on lovely grounds. A shadow of its former glory, this resort still has an undeniable charm. Not updated, but the price can’t be beat. Reasonably priced golf, too. Nice stay over-all.
