Casa Santa Lucia is an attractive, well-run and well-kept hotel in a good location for experiencing San Cristobal de las Casas. The staff is unusually attentive, pleasant and helpful. The breakfast offerings are delicious and varied. My wife and I particularly enjoyed the colorful, authentic, Mexican art and decor. We would like to stay here again in the future.

Lovely spot, beautiful decor. Very quiet and comfortable with very helpful staff. The breakfast area and the room interior are dazzling with local color and flair.

What a peaceful place to relax and enjoy vacation. The location was ideal, just blocks to the market, restaurants and shops in the central colonial district. The staff was courteous and friendly, though limited in English. The rooms were unique and beautifully decorated and the breakfast was made to order. We would love to stay here again.

The hotel is well kept and the staff goes above and beyond for its guests. The best service one can ask for!

The staff was exceptional: reception, dining, and cleaning staff. The rooms were also very nice and clean and accommodating. THE ONLY COMPLAINT: the windows didn’t open to the outside, so no cold air to sleep with which I really love. Will definitely go back! Thank you,!

We stayed in the Master Suite for 2 nights with our toddler. It was a wonderful experience. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The decorations are so pretty, that I went shopping at a local market to find similar decor. The food was so tasty. Frank was superb helping us at all times. It is in a great location. We hope to visit San Cristobal again, and stay at Santa Lucia. Do yourself a favor and book here.

This is a fantastic property, authentic, beautifully decorated, from the rooms to the restaurant and a little garden. Fantastic, beautifully served and delicious breakfast. Staff is genuinly friendly and helpful. They serve you with a welcome drink and even give you a lovely thoughtful present when you leave. Whenever (I mean 24/7) you come "home" (to Casa Santa Lucia), you can prepare your tea, eat lovely local biscuits and fruits - it's always there for you - beautifully served, welcoming you. One feels totally at home in this lovely hotel. We would love to come back!

Santa Lucía is the best place you can stay in San Cristobal de las Casas. We stayed 4 nights and it felt we could stay more without getting tired of it. It felt like a real home. We got the suit, which had a separate office with tv, chimney, desk and couch. Also, a great amount of books on history, arts, nature, and politics of Chiapas, and Mexico. The manager Freddy has every detail taken care of. The food served in the central courtyard and prepared by a single lady is delicious and feels homemade. Every request is met beyond expectations. If you want a small hotel with real attention to detail and the feeling you really are in Mexico, this is it. I highly recommend it!
