Perfect for getting seeing my kid at college

Very noisy. Horrible night of sleep. Air conditioner did not keep up. At check in I told the clerk that parking was needed and I was informed that it was an additional $12 which I agreed to. Upon trying to exit the garage I was asked to pay $23 and called the front desk. Front desk said that I did not pay for parking. Twenty three dollars later I exited the parking garage. Convenient location to UC but I will stay elsewhere next time

Right by University of Cincinnati campus super clean and convenient

This is a great hotel within walking distance to UC. We booked it for a freshman orientation. My only gripe is that construction started at like 5 AM right outside of our window and no one could sleep through it... It was literally dark outside so I am not sure how they were even working but there was indeed a tenacious person with a hammer getting his J-O-B done.

Second time we have stayed here. Going on a college tour and this is so convenient. Everything is in walking distance and the staff is very friendly. Definitely will be coming back in the future.

We were there to be close to a family member who is having open-heart surgery. The property itself is nice. The check-in was lacking. I was asked to provide a credit card for incidentals, which is normal. I was immediately charged $80. Then another $40. I was charged $40 a day for each day. That was on top of the initial $80. Then when I checked out, I was charged $69 for parking. It’s strange because I only parked on the street. The parking garage is too far of a walk in this sketchy neighborhood. Also, the garage parking is $16/day. I was told that the charges would fall off my card, but they have yet to do so. I don’t understand these charges. Apparently the front desk doesn’t either.

The staff were friendly and amazing to work with. They offered recommendations for activities and made my children, my husband and I feel at home.

Not much to add to the title. If anyone is interested in parking info: they have attached garage, clearance 8'2" (when entering from Calhoun street), $12/night with hotel's validation.

The staff was amazing when we checked in... very friendly and personable. The room was very clean and the breakfast hit the spot. Look forward to future stays!!!

The hotel is conveniently very close to the University of Cincinnati and the music department is a short walk away, which for parents of a music student was helpful for attending a recital. The hotel doesn't have on-site parking, but a multi-story parking structure in the same block worked o.k. for us when we borrowed our daughter's car. The hotel buffet breakfast was good as was the pizza restaurant around the corner. We did have some relatively minor problems with the room (#415): the outlets near the coffee maker didn't work, so we moved it to the other side of the room. Water leaked from the shower under the fixed portion of the glass; it appeared that the bottom of the glass was not caulked when installed, leaving a gap for the water to drip into the bathroom. The metal hardware securing the glass was rusted in places. We reported the above when checking out, so the issues might have been fixed by now.

Always a very friendly and helpful staff, convenient location and parking in a nice garage. This is an easy choice for me every time I come to the UC side of town.

Generally ok The breakfast need to be organized. We keep going back and forth to get food items. Not properly organized.

The room was very clean. Staff very friendly! Convenient as we were here to see a UC basketball and see our daughter who is a UC student. Win for UC!!

Very updated facility. Big bathrooms and very updated clean rooms. Absolutely no complaints. Super friendly front desk staff also. Clean lobby. Has a pool and weight room. And breakfast! Can get validated parking for the parking garage directly behind hotel for 12.00. The front desk staff will tell you how. The building doesn’t have a parking lot. We paid 12.00 for overnight parking and it will billed to our card.

The hotel is great. You have to park in a parking garage that is expensive. The hotel itself is very quiet. The road that it is on is very noisy.

I only stayed one night but found Fairfield close to the university campus to be convenient and the staff are excellent. What a wonderful relaxing evening I enjoyed!

Clean, comfortable rooms. Easy short walk to campus which is what I wanted. It was a little loud at night (Friday).

The price was 2 to 3 times higher than I was expecting to pay for a Faifield Inn Facility. Very expensive. Also, I was told that I get a discount if my child was a student at University of Cincinnati - i feel that Expedia should advertise this option & promote it in their price. The management was exceptional & very customer friendly, but my room did not get cleaned after the first night of my stay - I should not have to ask to have my room cleaned.
