It is near an underground subway. And 6 stops away from city. A nearby supermarket is wonderful for buying extra bottles of water, fruits and bread. And the airport bus stops near the hotel.

During my stay, I asked to fix TV they claim they don’t have a technician and the net are very, very poor and also they didn’t provide VIP service for me and the neighbourhood are not interesting for anything

Super Hotel.

The staff is very rude. Spa smells like a locker room that hasn’t been cleaned in 5 years. Best part was the bed. Other then that I don’t recommend

Hotel is very new and service was great, however, it is a bit too modern for families (ie doors in bathroom/toilet are glass and do not close). Also the restaurant in the hotel is very overpriced and next one is quite far away.

The hotel was quite new, clean, and very upscale. It was the best hotel that we ever stayed on our trip to Europe. I highly recommend it.

We chose Steigenberger based on positive experiences from other Steigenberger hotels in Germany. Steigenberger Munich is a modern and comfortable hotel with nice rooms and super good breakfast. Located outside the city center in a very tranquil and green neighbourhood which is easily accessible by U-Bahn. The beautiful Englisher Garten within walking distance and also some restaurants if you don't want to travel to town for dinner every night. Would stay again!

Excellent hotel - modern, comfortable and with just enough luxury

tl;dr: * Good location * Great breakfast buffet * Staff did not fix a problem that made our stay annoying * Tried to "make it right", but didn't fix the underlying problem We arrived early from airport eager to get a nap. Understandably, the room wasn't ready, so we got lunch and returned at the normal checkin time. The room was still not ready. So they sent us to the bar to get a free drink, which is nice, but we'd rather have our room. We wait another hour for the room.They give our daughter a little prize bag, and we go to our room. However, our keys didn't work. The reason our key didn't work is that we were never officially checked into the room. So to make things work, they assigned the keys to the room but didn't check us in. This marked our reservation as a "no show". We then have trouble getting breakfast (which we already paid for). I'm assured by front desk this is the last of our problems, everything is fixed. But it's not. Our room wasn't cleaned on our second day (because from the hotel's computer's POV we weren't there the first night). We're offered free minibar drinks to make up for it. I appreciate the hotel did so much to "make things right", but for this hotel category, I expect fewer things to go wrong or at least fixed at the first or second sign of a problem. This, coupled with smaller issues (library was playing two simultaneous pieces of music, outlets that didn't work in room) mean that I can't recommend the hotel without reservation.

I booked this hotel a few days before I flew out. I didn't have many options to choose from. Now normally if I was travelling by myself I wouldn't pick something so expensive. I ate a couple of times in the bar - the weather was lovely and so ate outside. While I had no issues with the service of the bar - there was one member who stood out a lot more than the other. I just wished I caught his name because he was so positive and lovely and it didn't matter that I was here by myself. The food was good - the club sandwich was way too much food by loved it. I enjoyed plenty of cocktails while here and the drinks menu was extensive. The wellness centre which I went to twice both about an hour before it shut - was perfect for me as it was empty and I could enjoy the steam rooms, and sauna and even sit down and read a bit without other people distributing the peace. The place was the walking distance to a U6 metro station which I found really coinvent and could get to pretty much everywhere I need to go with ease. There was also a small supermarket on the walk back from the station which was very useful. An airport shuttle bus also stopped near this metro station and cost about fourteen euros for a transfer. My complaint was the fact the tea bags weren't replaced. That is just me being difficult. I loved my stay and while I probably wouldn't stay again cause it was too lavish for a solo tourist. I would recommend this to all if this is what you want from a hotel.

On one of the bedside stands were very visible drink stains, other than that, everything else was amazing.

Excellent hotel. Price/Quality really good. Nice breakfast.

There is reduced staff and basically no service. Coffee, tea, etc not replaced in the rooms and you have to specially ask for cleaning. The restaurant is seriously understaffed.

Great business hotel, clean, big modern rooms (stayed in the junior suite), and easy access to the U6 subway line. On-site restaurant has Augustiner on tap, so definitely worth a visit. And proximity to English Garden for walks can’t be beaten. Hotel staff took COVID protocol very seriously, which was great to see. Only negatives: the weights in the gym only go up to 9kg, and parking could be a tad cheaper.

Overall it was fine.
