Friendly staff, clean room w good pillows, standard hotel breakfast…nice way to get you started for the fay

This was our fourth stay. The hotel is always clean (except that the hallway carpet is worn) and nicely decorated. All the employees are friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and well-designed with a mini-fridge (with a freezer compartment!), microwave, and sink. We always ask for a room with a view of the fountain-- despite the location on a busy road across from a shopping mall, the view is lovely. The fountain is beautifully lit at night. During the day you can see the attractive pedestrian walkway into downtown. The downtown is well worth a visit. Within just a few blocks, there's a nice bookstore, gift stores, a wonderful candy shop with assorted Sweets they make on site, and numerous restaurants.

Pricing for Purdue-Notre Fame game was exorbitant. Room price normally 25% of the game weekend rate. For $1,000 a day, ya’ll should have offered shuttle service. This a 10 minute trip to the stadium.
Pricing makes this a two-star hotel at best.
Other than that, very nice place.

The pool was especially nice. Our kids had a blast! The only thing we didnt like was that the bathroom is a sliding door with no lock.

So much traffic noise!! My room was on the second floor facing the roundabout. Had trouble sleeping. Hallways aren’t air conditioned. Would it kill them to shampoo the carpets in the hallways??

Close to purdue university and set in a quiet area of town. Close to food options and the breakfast was good. Pool was clean and in good condition. I would stay here again when i come back to the area. Five stars.

The staff at this hotel are exceptional. They are always kind and courteous. They even offered us umbrellas to take when it was going to rain. If you let them know the coffee was getting cold they immediately made more. I was extremely impressed and would suggest this hotel to anyone staying in the area!

This clean was friendly, comfortable and very well run. We would especially like to call out the warmth, efficiency and kindess of everyone who worked at the front desk. What an exceptional staff you have!
We want to make special mention of Chris Deel, who tracked down a shirt we had left behind in our room, called us back and helped to have the shirt sent back to us. Mr. Deel provided us with excellent help, and we are very grateful to him! We will definitely come back to stay at this inn again if we are in town.

Check-in was extremely easy. Peyton was friendly and incredibly helpful. Plenty of food at breakfast. Room was spacious and clean. Very convenient to Purdue University. Easy access to campus as well as downtown.

They gave us the wrong room, and we had to switch to the type we reserved. The front desk personnel were very helpful.

This Hampton Inn does not comply with ADA standards in their designated handicapped accessible guest rooms. My husband is in a wheelchair and I booked a wheelchair accessible room. The room we received barely had enough room for his wheelchair. The bathroom toilet was not comfort height and the vanity was low and did not have room for his legs underneath. There were no grab bars at the toilet either. When we asked about our room they said they consider it to be accessible because they added a grab bar in the tub/shower even though the rest of the room was a standard room.

We fell ill due to food poisening from a restaurant in Lafayette.
The staff at the Hampton Inn very helpful and caring. We got everything we needed delivered to our room.
