Clean facilities and friendly staff

Clean rooms, hallways, lobby. Brakfaar offered, nit the best food but lots of choices to make breakfast good. Good coffee. Do not like sliding bathroom doors. Overall very nice experience.

Property is nice. Rooms are nice. Very clean. Breakfast is good but always one choice or another. No variety. Kids will like it. Honestly, it would be nice if they offered more amenities. I paid more this trip, for the room alone, than ever before! I didn’t feel it was entirely worth it. The rooms are bare. The microwaves are now only in the lobby and I am a Hilton honors member. I was hoping for some bottled water. However, the people are always kind, informative, professional, and they all work hard. I appreciate them! I am sad to say, I did not feel as safe as I have in the past due to the change in element. It would be nice if they had a security guard, especially in or near the parking garage at night. I really felt as though I had to be on my toes… more than usual.

Very clean and quite

In the parking garage you had a huge “n” word graffitied in the entrance and exit. Not a safe environment for minorities. Do not recommend.

Nice property

We had an issue with our reservation and the man at the front desk, Doug, was amazing in terms of his patience and trying to help us sort it out with Hotels.com. In the end, it was rectified and Doug couldn’t have been more accommodating and trying to please. Kudos to him. The only negative I have is that the beds are a little hard for my liking, but I’m sure others would like them.

We had a great stay I St Albans. The beds were awful. It felt like a sumo wrestler slept on the bed for 10 years and then donated the mattress to the Hampton Inn. The sliding doors in the bathroom suck for privacy when traveling with a family of 4. The faucet on the side of the sink are crappy too. They make a mess on the counter because there is not enough overhang

Everything was great..except for the awful noise from above. Both nights we had to call the front desk . Kids jumping off furniture and all kind of noise!

The property is perfectly located in the heart of St. Albans, allowing you to explore the town and visit other close by locations.

Nice place

The Hampton in St. Albans is a very nice hotel. The staff are super sweet and very accommodating with your needs! It is a pet friendly hotel with a charge per stay. Price depends on number of nights stay. There is an area, between the hotel and parking garage, for your pets relief.The parking is a rate of $3 with validated ticket. There are quite a few questionable appearing people around the parking garage, but never did we feel that our car or ourselves were in any danger. The breakfast changes daily: omelettes, sausage biscuits and gravy, to scrambled eggs, cereals, yogurts and fresh fruit. My personal favorite was the cinnamon roll waffles and my husband preferred the bagels with cream cheese. The beds were comfy with a variety of pillows with sheet and bed cover. There was a refrigerator in the room to keep items cold. The air conditioner worked well as it was 90° outside and our room was very chill to our liking. My only suggesting when making any updates to the bathrooms would be to replace the single head shower with a wand shower option, but the water was always hot and the pressure was good!

The Hampton Inn in St. Albans, Vermont was fantastic! For starters, their cancellation policy was great since I could cancel up to midnight the day before for a full refund - for just a slight increase in the rate when booked months in advance. Next, the front desk person at check-in was super friendly and helpful. The room was super clean, spacious, and bright - loved the high ceilings and cold fridge too. The bathroom had a lovely shower with shampoo and conditioner dispensers built in and a lotion dispenser by the counter top. The continental breakfast was the best we’ve ever had with all sorts of fresh choices and a friendly staff member who continually re-stocked fresh food. I wished we were staying there longer. We will definitely stay here again if we are in St. Albans. Thank you Hampton Inn!

Enjoyed our trip. We will be back.

Always great place to stay

I had a wonderful stay! The gentleman at the front desk ran out in the rain to retrieve my dinner which was delivered next door. He was so professional, friendly, and kind! He’s a keeper people! I’m so upset I can’t remember his name! The room was nice. Comfortable bed. Quiet & clean. No microwave:( Breakfast was good. Nothing fancy but something for everyone. Coffee always available. Love that. Validated parking. Nice indoor pool. Plenty of places to eat on Main St. & a bakery across the street from hotel. I’ve stayed here many times and I’m never disappointed.

Great hotel but we had trouble with issues on your end when we checked in. The front desk agent said it had something to do with your virtual credit card or something.

Great option if you are skiing at Jay Peak or on your way to Canada. The location was perfect and allowed us to walk to many different restaurants, shops and a pharmacy.

Trains run and blow their horns all times of the day and night. I'm not a light sleeper but these woke me up at 4am and 11:30pm. Staff is lovely, hotel itself is nice but I think I'll stay elsewhere next time I'm in town- further from the tracks.

We stay at this property whenever visiting family in the area. the hotel is always clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's right in downtown St. Albans and very walkable. Near stores, restaurants, etc.

This is a very nice location - lots of shopping and dining options right out the front door. A great place to bring the kids as well.
