First time there and it was great. Staff was available and helpful. Very quiet and relaxing. Beautiful grounds and nearby area. Found plenty of things to do, places to explore. Would definitely stay here again.

The Woolverton Inn is a beautiful place to stay while visiting south Jersey. The Inn is located on a beautiful property which is landscaped up front and which backs on to a sheep pasture, trails and farm country. The Inn is close to many historic sites, to the beautiful river towns as well as a number of local wineries.

Service is top notch. Owners and staff are very friendly and aim to please. It snowed one night when we were there. Upon waking in the morning, the parking lot was plowed of course, but they even shoveled between each car! Breakfasts are wonderful. Rooms very comfortable. We enjoyed the afternoon cookies and the surprise nightcap. You cannot help but enjoy your stay. You will feel like you gained new friends/family.

Whisk away to a time when things were oh so simple van. From the moment we walked onto the property we were in chanted by the lovely Christmas lights, and although frozen, the pristine gardens lining the entranceway. We were greeted by a lovely young woman who told us everything we needed to know about the property and then showed us to our room. A lovely balcony and a working fire place all set with an easy to burn Duraflame.
Lovely linens and surroundings and let me not forget to mention breakfast the next morning. It was amazing to wake up, smelling fresh coffee and breakfast cooking. Wonderful choices of eggs and hotcakes, fresh fruit, breakfast meats, and juice and freshly baked scones were all a part of our yummy feast.
There was one thing, however, that we didn’t like.
That is that we didn’t book a second night with the Woolverton Inn. We will definitely be back and I give this an A
3 miles from Newhope with tons of shops/restaurants. Perfect for holiday shopping or any time of year!

Beautiful picturesque setting. Sheep grazing and birds singing. Lovely quiet getaway with no fuss. Close to New Hope and Peddlers Village for unique shopping. You are transformed back to the old days. Recommend this B&B.

We absolutely loved our stay at Wolverton. The staff was cheerful, the grounds simply lovely and the accommodations and food wonderful! Although it was a mere hour from our home, we felt completely away and relaxed. The breakfasts and evening treats were delicious. We loved the in room fireplace for a chilly cozy night and the relaxing bath and amenities. Thank you for the fantastic stay!

Great food, plenty of coffee/tea and soft drinks at all hours and snacks during the day, beautiful grounds, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, good air conditioning, adorable sheep and the nicest staff, who went out of their way to help us feel more comfortable. Every other guest at the inn had been there multiple times and was returning. I hope to do the same.

The Woolverton is an excellent choice for a quiet environment without the hassles of parking, noise, or other development. As in most historic buildings, there is no elevator but the trip to the third floor was manageable. Staff was excellent and the breakfasts were outstanding.

Loved the sheep outside our cottage window. Innkeeper was super proactive emailing us restaurant and hike ideas before our arrival. Cottage design was beautiful. Hand delivered breakfast in the morning was a very nice touch although the kitchen didn’t quite read our order but it was still lovely. Would have preferred a farm view without dismantled wedding tent and blue tarps in the distance. Nevertheless, it a very very Special place.

The property is absolutely beautiful with a unique countryside setting. The building, built in 1792, keeps the ambiance of the time period with the comfort of modern personal facilities. Beautiful location and main manor house building and convenient for our purposes. The staff were very pleasant and the breakfasts very good. It was lovely to eat on the patio surrounded by gorgeous landscaping. Frankly, I thought the Amelia room could use a little work. Visible dust under the radiator and on molding around fireplace, planks on roof outside window, loose toilet seat and the the drain control on the bath kept coming off exposing a grubby fixture underneath. If they had fixed these items the place would rate a five star.
