Nice hostel, receptionist very friendly and kind!!!

Booked 2 rooms, and made a remark to stay on the same floor. Turned out that we have to stay in 2 rooms of different building 30 minutes apart on foot. Hotel is irresponsible and don't care about our concerns as some members of our group do not speak English. It's very hard and inconvenience for us to plan our itinerary if we are that far apart. Hotel is not clean and noisy. Broken glasses are all over the kitchen in the morning, as people may have been drunk at night on the bar on the 1st foot. Smoke are all around on the 1st floor. People make noise in the hotel even after midnight.

It was a pleasant experience, the only problem is that in the hotel they did not accept a card, nor did they pay in another currency. Both in the hostel and in the hostel bar. So it was a bit tricky to interact on the spot.

The best hostel in Zagreb. The staff Dinko, Matt, Andra, Joe and everyone else are super friendly. I had a great time! There is always something going on at the bar. They have clean rooms and the environment is really cool. Will definetly return. -Gisela Lopez

Chillout Hostel Zagreb has an amazing location. It is located right next to the funicular and is within walking distance of all the main attractions. There are tons of wonderful cafes, bars, and bakeries nearby. The hostel is also within walking distance (15 minutes) of the central train station. I booked a private room with en-suite bathroom. This essentially consisted of them giving me an eight person dorm room to myself. A bar is located on the main floor but I did not hear any bar noise from my room on the fourth floor. This place is definitely a hostel not a hotel, but if location is your top priority, Chilout Hostel is worth considering.

Good location. Hotel staff was helpful. Reasonably priced. The garbage in my room had not been emptied from the last guest before I checked in. Most guests are in their 20's. I would stay here again if I return to Zagreb.

Hostel was very good situated and with very kind and good people. Since forst moment i came all hostel personal tried to make me confortable and like in my home. Congrats! I will repeat there for sure in my next trip :)

Amazing price... very close to the bus station... 24hrs bar...the music doesnt bother you... how ever no towels... no shampoo.. no nothing... the rooms are ok but very tie... overall is ok

the beds are enclosed into the wall, making them extremely hot even with the A/C on. the toilet clogged and even after I told the lobby no one fixed it. I had to use someone else bathroom.

Great location - next to the furnicular and 5 minutes walk to St. Marks church. We booked a private room with ensuite, small but clean room, good facilities. Very helpful staff at the hostel. Free use of computers and printers - super convenient if you need to print boarding passes etc for next journey.

Definitely a great place to be for the backpacker crowd. Very very well located at the base of the funicular and very close to the main square. All of the staff I encountered was very accommodating and nice. They have a bar in the hostel and a good restaurant across the street. The free walking tour was quite excellent and very informative, felt bad for the guy with the low turn out in low season. Had a private room, bathroom was fine. Wasnt thrilled with the bunkbed when traveling solo though. The room was clean however, the biggest and unfortunate issue was a few insect bites (of what insect I do not know, didnt appear to be bed bug bites); so obviously wasnt happy about the bedding. But they did quarantine the room after I informed them, and offered me a complimentary stay. Seems like a really fun place, had I stayed longer or been there at a busier time.
