One of nicest hotels we have stayed. Would have gave it 5 stars but you had to pay the hotel extra to park!

The stay was good, didn't have any issues. If we had any questions, the front desk answered them. And were very friendly.

The mattress was urine stained and the staff acknowledged they knew and said the best they could do was give me a sheet to put over it. Completely unacceptable

Upon arrival our room still had old food in the fridge and hair in the shower on the floor. Unfortunately our view was of the back of a building and alley but that happens. The beds were hard as a rock along with the pillows. We were looking forward to a good nights sleep and the only thing we got was back pain. The free breakfast was subpar. Sausage was cold, only one option for coffee. I feel like if you spend this much money on a room you should have a clean room to check in to and better amenities. Parking is difficult, and luckily we got the last space to park in, but it was $22 to use hotel parking. If you book at the hotel that should be complimentary! I will say the concierge was friendly and willing to clean our room for us, had no issue with them or their customer service! Unfortunately, when coming to Pittsburgh again we will not be using this hotel.

This is our go-to hotel near Pitt's campus. It's always clean, the rooms are comfortable and nicely sized and appointed. It's walkable to campus and the staff is always helpful

Me and my daughter came for a 1 day event at the University and selected this property. It was closer to the U with walking distance. Breakfast had some good variety with fresh waffles that you can make.
Only watchout is that covered parking was right across the street with limited space. We were lucky enough to find an open spot late in the evening.

The location it’s good very close to the city . The room was good have everything that we need but the only problem for me was the cleaning everyday we found woman’s hair on the floor and bed it’s looks that they don’t vacuum the floor but the hotel was good.

I was there for 2 nights to catch a Pirates game. Front desk was very helpful and got a list of places to eat. Worth the expense.

We stayed at this hotel because it was close to UPitt. It’s a lovely hotel that is very convenient to several restaurants and close to the school. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the bathroom. There was hair all over the bathroom floor. I don’t think the housekeeper swept before mopping. It was kind of gross. The bathroom door was also dusty and dirty. The shower curtain liner looked like it had been cut, so it wasn’t long enough to keep the water from getting on the floor. Plus there was hair stuck on it and on the shower walls. The beds were fine though. So that’s a plus.

It has been years since we were in this area of Pittsburgh. Although we had a general idea of where the property was, we turned left one block before we should have. When we came around the block a second time, we asked an attendant at another motel across the street for assistance. He was able to provide us with directions. The street we turned on was one way. So we left the second place, went up one block, turned right on to the street your property was located, and found your place on the left side. Your property has only been there seven years.

Staff was great. So were amenities and the free breakfast was alright. Definitely recommend. Only hang up is PARKING. Call ahead and buy the parking pass before making the trip or you’ll be scrambling to find a legal spot on the street like we did. Had no idea it was an option. Otherwise, 10/10. Good people and the kitchenette/full fridge was nice.

The parking garage is very difficult to access. The driveway off Forbes Avenue is extremely narrow. It is a true test of driving skills to navigate your vehicle in the pathway between the parking garage and the side entrance of the hotel. It is nearly impossible if there are other cars in the driveway. Each car is attempting to unload luggage in a confined area. Once the luggage is at the entry of the hotel, the guest needs to return to their car and HOPEFULLY find a place to park in the garage. The luggage is left unattended if the guest is traveling solo. The clerk does offer to leave the luggage at the desk under their watch, but it becomes challenging if other guests are checking in.

Picked the hotel for location to my destinations in Pittsburgh and I was not disappointed. Walkable and convenient to take public transit to everywhere I wanted to go. Excellent and restful stay for more than a week. Staff was helpful from check-in through last day. Fortunate to have a room on higher floor with a view; I asked and hotel obliged. If I ever come back to Pittsburgh in the future I would stay here again.

Location is amazing , hotel room is nice , new and spacious. But Staff oh my I’ve never seen a Marriot Chain with such rude staffing , only one lady was nice I believe because she was a supervisor , staff make faces , don’t look at you , I wasn’t even greed when I stepped to check in . Nice room but it was not clean , stainless applicies with grease fingers , stained linens , dirty and hair around the bathroom .
