Nice staff and great location. Hotel is little outdated but that is not reason i will not stay again.

This small hotel is located right by the sea so you can get very nice sea views from rooms at the back. It was very hard to find the car park as it is inaccessible from the main road and the road at the rear is one-way and quite tricky to find. Room was OK for the price. Receptionist very helpful and friendly. Breakfast on terrace at rear overlooking the sea very pleasant and decent selection.

We were traveling north from Pag and decided to stay 1 night in Novi Vinodolski at Hotel Ruža. Before I begin, I MUST say that our GPS was VERY "confused" finding the Hotel's access, so be forewarned; the Hotel building can be SEEN from the main road, but the access road is BEHIND the building (between the building and the beach), and the access road is entered approximately 1,000 feet or so down the main road from the building. There is convenient free parking alongside the Hotel, on the beach side. Once we reached the "Reception", everything was easy. Our host was EXTREMELY friendly, and we had a couple of "rousing" conversations. Our host led us to our room, and we were pleased to have a patio-sized "balcony" with a view of the Adriatic. The room was clean and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was good. In the morning, we enjoyed a tasty buffet breakfast with a "Croatian Omelette" containing regional ham. The Hotel is a few steps from the beach, with a view of an historic island just offshore.

Hotel and room were old but quite clean. Time to renovate. Breakfast was nothing special. Not much to see around.

We LOVED Hotel Ruza. The rooms were very clean, very comfortable, with a good shower, and affordable to boot. There is a small walkway to the lovely seaside. Breakfast was fantastic -- eggs to order, plus a buffet of fresh items. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed talking with them. I wish wed had another day to explore the area more. There is a church on a little island just offshore. It would be fun to row/swim to it for a visit. Our stay at Hotel Ruza was perfect. We had 3 rooms (5 of us, visiting at the end of September 2017).

Zoran and Katarina do everything to make you feel at home. They offer help with anything you need. They go beyond what you expect. I had left a notebook with tickets and other stuff at a bus stop in Ravna Gora and Katarina called the gas station and cafeteria to try and find it for me. Breakfast was very good and Zoran would prepare omelettes, scrambled eggs or fried eggs. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was very clean; I had a fridge and didnt need air conditioning because the bedroom was nice and fresh, even though the temperature rose to 33°C. The hotel is 100 meters from the beach and walking distance from Stari Grad (Old Town). Sunny terrace. Id go back if I travel to Novi Vinodolski. They speak English, which is not common in this small town!
