Chose this hotel since it was close proximity to the airport, but no airport shuttle. Also, the elevators were ridiculous, sometimes it took 5 minutes for the hotel to stop on your floor.

My wife and I stayed at the Hampton (double room king bed - lake view) for one night in October 2024. We stayed at the airport as we had an earlyish flight the next day. The check-in was a breeze, and the room was perfect for our stay. Large, well-appointed, very modern, quiet and clean, with a great view of the lake. The hotel is just five minutes from the airport and has free parking. They don’t have airport shuttle service, but Taxis and Ubers are readily available. All in all, a perfect place to stay if we are flying into, or out of Montevideo airport.

A shuttle back and forth to the airport does not exist. We were driving a rental car so no problem, but otherwise one would have to take a taxi. It is .9 miles from the airport

Great location near the airport, staff was very friendly and breakfast was great. However, almost ZERO internet in the rooms and had to go down the lobby to get internet. The TV channels were limited to Spanish only and the TV worked poorly.

Dinner was delicious. Close to the airport and quick ride. Great if you have a flight out the next day or need a close place to stay.

I chose this hotel because it's so close to the airport, but it also offers nearby walkable destinations. The FDR Park is a short distance away, and the shore can be reached at the other end of the park. Nearby dining options are limited, but the hotel offers a good (free) breakfast and dinner options.

Hotel is amazing rooms are clean and super close to airport.
The restaurant is definitely disappointing do not even waste your time. My husband and I are stoped by to eat so we didn’t have to go out and the food was not good at all. The steak was over cooked and pasta was not good. Waited a while for a waitstaff to come to do a table check and nothing we walked to front desk and told them we were done.

The whole experience from start to finish was great. Friendly staff, nice and clean hotel, good breakfast. Hotel allowed us to do a late check-out free of charge and hold our luggage after a check-out for a couple of hours. It was a plus. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Upon arrival, the air conditioning didn’t work, and neither did the telephone. They immediately assigned us another room, which luckily was available
