The staff were friendly and check in/out was quick and easy. Easy to find a park. Rooms weren’t overly clean and you could hear very loud footsteps from the room above.

Poor wifi and room had zero personality, with no pictures or finishing on the walls.

At $250 a night I would have expected the room to be clean. There was gross long hair stuck to the wall in the bathroom, major dust on the front of the bathtub and on the counter(so gross). The bed had dirty sheets on the bottom with sheets put over top it. What shocked me was the $200 charge if dog hair gets on the duvet cover IN a PET FRIENDLY room. The bed was comfortable but that was the only good thing about the room. Sounded like people were having a stampede upstairs, so noise wise its no good either. I have worked at hotels most of my life and that room was gross. -10 out of 10. Shouldnt charge 250 a night for a dirty room. No blow dryer or microwave either which is bizarre.

Everything was okay, beds and towels clean and comfy. A bit Noisy as parking is in front of all the rooms.. Too bad the restaurant and shop were quite "limited" in their offers and opening times. Many rules here...

Good to stargaze. No microwave in the room which is very inconvenient. Only one restaurant in the resort, not too many choice. But the overall environment is great. A good place to trace northern light.

They provided an astronomical telescope, our group members were surprised by this very special service. The Boss was generously helping us everything, including Laundry，room service and suggesting us a very good sight seeing spot. Well done!

Clean, simple, amazing location.

Great for a mountain stay, campground looked beautiful. On site restaurant was alright, but staff was frazzled and the store had limited inventory, and three out of thirty ice cream flavors. Clean enough, and priced alright. Nothing fancy, but there are supplies, warm clean beds, hot showers and common grounds outside to visit in.

We attended a wedding at the David Thompson Resort. We booked a room with a kingsize bed at the resort. The room is set up very poorly. No headboard, no art and the bedding was not very good quality. There is so much they could do to make the resort more appealing considering the price they charge! Communication was very poor and they only provide one key card per room.

It was a nice clean place property needs too be upgraded too todays standards possibly they should fix there pool or put a new one in

My overnight stay at this hotel was exceptional. The room on the upper floor was quiet, clean, and very comfortable, making for a great experience.

There was a mistake where hotels.com booking came up as the day of booking instead of the intended, next day. Called and messaged hotel and they were contacted by hotels.com, but they were unavailable. They have no one answering phones or messages all evening. The next am they still were not able to resolve. Finally they declined switching the dates, since the incorrect booking date had passed, despite having availability that night. I paid $350 for an unused room the day prior, and was forced to drive my family 2 extra hours after dark the night we needed a hotel, while they had space. Inflexible and unavailable.

The property did not look like advertised on website.

Hotel facilities were run down and unclean.

Rooms were basic but clean, good for overnight stay. Restaurant on site had good burger food however only served until 8pm, resort is remote so no alternatives for food.motel has anlaundry room also

Office staff not helpful. We feel that it was an additional burden for them to answer to our questions.

Very basic hotel in a nice area. Could use a microwave. Pretty clean room but different color on the walls would make it more cozy. Would reccomend for a night stay.

Good accommodations off the beaten path. We enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were sufficient and enabled us to explore around the David Thompson area. Restaurant was basic and you pay a premium for the isolation. A frozen hamburger meal seemed pricey for what it was. So we ended up getting food elsewhere. Overall - good experience. Would return if I am specifically visiting that area.

If this wasn't the only hotel with in 300 kms i wouldn't of used it

I understand the need for cancellation policies (I am a small business owner as well). If the property holds your room for you and misses other opportunities to sell that room and you don't show up, they should be paid. However, I booked a room on Expedia at 11 pm for a stay 3 days hence. Before the office opened in the morning, my travel partner had mechanical problems with their motorcycle and we couldn't make it. When I returned to the site, there were the same number of rooms available on Expedia as the night prior (this was only 11 hrs. after the booking), so they hadn't missed an opportunity to rent a room. When I called they refused to provide a credit and charged my credit card the nearly $400. To be fair they did provide a credit for a future stay (until the end of the year next year, but its highly unlikely I will be able to make it). While this is narrowly within the policy, it is terrible customer service, so don't expect much beside the room from the property. I am really disappointed, so be careful.
