Elevated walk from station in minutes. All retail and dining needs at Sogo a few minutes walk away. Staff happy to provide a few extras if needed. Escorted to room with bags on arrival.

Everything was excellent. The room is a small for US Standards, but that was expected. They were very accommodating with a late check out and the charge was very reasonable. Access to Omiya station is very convenient. We had a wonderful stay.

A nice hotel, close to JR station. A Sogo and Big camera are opposite from the hotel, it is nice to have a shopping. But no laundry machine within the hotel, a bit disappointed.

Walkable from Omiya Station we arrived early they managed to stored our luggage and bring them up to the room when we came back later in the afternoon Most convenient with airport bus stop 300metre from hotel (Sogo department store west exit) on our departure day

I have stayed here many times and it never disappoints. Very comfortable bed, nice breakfast, spotlessly clean (although I do recommend a double room over a single room which can be on the small side). I have always viewed this as my 'go to' hotel when visiting the area and have now stayed here on at least twenty separate occasions.

Great hotel. Rooms sizeable and had all the amenities you could need for a business trip. Room was cleaning was sloppy but my colleagues had no issues so assume this is an exception rather than the norm.

So happy we found The Palace. Friendly. Clean. Great location - close to shops and subway. Very comfortable room - small but manageable in its layout. Very pleased.

One of the elevators was out. It wasn’t much of an inconvenience and they were working on repairing the other one. Otherwise everything was excellent

This hotel is a great place to stay in Omiya. Only 5 min walk from the train station and was very convenient (restaurants, convenient stores and department stores everywhere). The hotel staff is very pleasant and welcoming. Amenities were reasonable. The only problem I had was that there was no iron & iron board in the room. When I asked for them, they said I had to bring the clothes down to the lobby area and I had to iron my clothes there. This was the ONLY hotel in Japan that I could not iron my clothes in my room. Other than that, this hotel was very nice.

Perfect blend of comfort, convenience & value。 We used Omiya as a hub for traveling around Japan – directly connecting up north (to Aomori), west-bound (for Nagano) as well as in and around Tokyo (~20 min by Shinkansen to Tokyo Station; ~30 min by local train). Yes, it’s a bit off the actions of downtown Tokyo, but we actually like it relatively less busy. Palace Hotel is ~5-7 min by walk from the JR station via a footbridge. The hotel itself is of excellent quality – from the hardware to the software. Room is big by Japanese standard. Our only “complaints” are that the beds were a bit too soft for us and the bathroom too warm (not enough ventilation to let out the steam from hot shower). Apart from these, it’s perfect! Hotels of similar class & accessibility could easily cost 30-50% more expensive in Tokyo. We’d surely consider staying here again in our next trip to Japan/ Tokyo.
