I really liked this hotel. It had beautiful gardens and outside seating areas. The pool and pool bar were very relaxing. It was well situated in an active area so I felt very safe. Wish I would have stayed longer!

Beautifully kept property-nice amenities,clean, safe and steps from historical center. Loved the view from my room. Cleaning, breakfast and pool staff excellent. I would have given them a five star only downside was the front desk staff-one staff young lady was nice -the other two didn’t want to be bothered and were not welcoming. I was told the young man spoke English, but he was the least helpful-only on his cell. Front desk needs help -to be welcoming to Pousada guests. Minus front desk staff excellent. Paraty is beautiful and the Pousada is lovely.

Hotel was very nicely located, clean, and great value. The one thing to keep in mind is our room was on the ground floor and facing the street (not super busy) but you could hear some people coming home and having fun being a bit loud. It wasn't terrible and didn't bother us but something to keep in mind. I highly recommend staying here if you are going to Paraty!

The grounds are so beautiful. The location is great. Staying here made the visit to Party even better.
Only surprise was the boring furniture in the room. But the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast exceeded any expectations. The pool is nice. I really loved this place.

Right in the middle of historic center. Facility is clean, well maintained, seemed to be recently renovated. Very charming in every aspect.

A friendly, quiet refuge right in the center of the Party historic districts. Our room was simple, yet spotless with white cotton linens, comfortable beds and a clean, basic bathroom. There is a lovely pool and sauna with a bar for cooling off after your day walking. Breakfast is the best in Brazil, with home-made pastries and excellent coffee. Easy self parking. Highly recommended.

The only downside is my room didn’t have hot water, which wasn’t that concerning. Additionally, breakfast is served and “open” at 7, but both days I was there setup and hot food like eggs didn’t come until closer to 8.
Overall, a very lovely place and I would stay again.

The staff was very helplful. It was a great location to walk and get to everywhere. We love the relaxing vibe of Pousada Aconchego with the pool, hammocks, and seating area.

Excellent pousada - beautiful older building right in the pedestrian-only section of Paraty within minutes of all the wonderful sights of the city. Room was excellent as was service and quality of facilities. My children enjoyed the hammocks and the swimming pool very much and I particularly appreciated the caipirinha by the pool. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choices and all freshly made! Free parking right in front of the room was an added bonus. Overall, I have nothing but praise for this excellent hotel and highly recommended if travelling with children.
