A unique experience for boutique hotel. Staffs working there are so professional and super nice service. The hotel located in the heart (but quiet) of Barranco and close to galleries, restaurants and coffee shop. I’d love to stay there again next time.

Usually you start with the building, but the staff just shines out so I'll start there. Thoughtful, helpful, anticipating everything. Just exemplary. A beautiful spacious room in a great old building in a great location, walkable to all the best parts of barronco. Safe, quiet but still central. I looked it so much I stayed here twice on the same trip (starting and ending). I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lima.

Fantastic boutique hotel. The building is a gem and location was perfect in barranco. Amazing art store in front, restaurants nearby. Excellent breakfast. We were sad to Leave! Great staff as well. Loves the rooftop bar!

This hotel was very pretty, located close to the coastline. Staying in Barranco is a little less chaotic than Miraflores, so it was nice to be in this neighborhood for a couple of days. It was still close enough to restaurants, etc. I enjoyed the decor inside the common areas and looking at local artists. Our room was upgraded to a very large room with living area. Beautifully updated bathroom! The only negative we noticed was the air conditioning. The room felt damp so we turned on the unit the first night (even though we didn't need A/C because the weather was nice) - this seemed to help with dampness. By the next (and final night), the A/C unit didn't work. Since we departed at 4am the next day, we ddin't bother asking for maintenance to come and address it.

The room was very small, but the people were wonderful and the building itself was colonial and interesting.

Wow. Beautiful hotel in a terrific neighborhood! We had a lovely, light-filled room overlooking the garden. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Nice surprise to get a ticket for a free welcome drink at the rooftop bar. And the free breakfast was a cut above what we experienced at other hotels in Peru.

The staff at this hotel are extremely attentive and very accommodating. I will recommend this place for anyone who wants a safe and quiet place with amazing service.

This is a perfect spot to experience Lima, in the trendy, artistic area of Barranco. The hotel is attractive and well equipped. Having a restaurant available after a long flight is a plus, and the roof bar is great fun. I found the staff very friendly and efficient. I recommend this hotel whole heartedly.

We booked two nights and extended stay to six! Each staff member was excellent, our room was great, there were so many wonderful things to do and amazing restaurants to enjoy. We appreciated the complementary cooking and bartending lessons, as well as the recommendations. This place is one of a kind!!

The staff was very polite and friendly. We enjoyed talking to Alexandra at the front reception area. We loved the details in the cozy rooms and the friendliness of the house keepers and the personnel in the restaurant. We would definitely come back

One of my favorite stays in all of South America - the room was so clean and peaceful. The roof makes an excellent pisco sour and has views of the sunset. The staff is one of the best I've experienced as well.

If you would enjoy a taste of Old Lima, the Casa Republica Barranco is an excellent way to experience that. An old white mansion, it's so classic compared to the steel and glass hotels nearby. Situated in an artists' neighborhood, the hotel is quietly tucked away with a relaxing courtyard. Breakfast was excellent and the room had a well appointed and large bathroom. Staff was very helpful, even arranging for me to get some high altitude medication for my trip to Cusco. Restuarant menu options are limited, but convenient if you don't care to leave the hotel to have dinner. Pricing very reasonable.

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Republica; the staff were wonderful, the breakfast was Great, and it's situated perfecly in Barranco, with quick access/walk to stores and some tourist locations. Only feedback I have is that if you're staying on the main floor of the first building (the one where you check-in), it can get very loud throughout the day. The sounds from the hallway clearly go through to the rooms, and if you're on the ones facing/closer to the street, you will also very clearly hear every car that pass by. This asside, this is a wonderful stay.

This is a gorgeous property and we were assigned a beautiful well equipped room. Staff was very kind and even readied 2 to-go lunches for our early flight. We did have one significant issue with the property however. We were assigned a room in the entry way which while gorgeous was insanely noisy. We aren’t overly picky and we aren’t light sleepers… but it sounded like a crowded bar outside our room the entire night. It seemed there was a ton of foot traffic as well as loud talking from the reception desk, the bellman, etc. Neither of us slept well and we both talked about it multiple times the next day.

I have stayed in Miraflores on many occasions while visiting my mother in Lima but this time I decided to stay in Barranco at Casa Republica. I must say that Casa Republica in Barranco exceeded my expectations. The rooms were very clean, the bed was great, very clean sheets, and very comfortable. The best part was that there was plenty of hot water and the shower head felt like I was under a waterfall. I will definitely be returning. The only thing I'd like to see is more vegan options for their breakfast buffet.

I stayed here for a week with my fianceé and we had a wonderful time! The hotel itself is an old building, but very well maintained and very beautiful. Every staff member we encountered was kind, professional, and competent, and very willing to accomdate a couple of requests we had. We felt very welcomed which helped to make the experience feel very relaxing. The tapas we had at the hotel restaurant were delicous and we had a great time wt the rooftop bar. The area surrounding the hotel is like the hotel itself: old but well taken care of and full of charm. I had some very enjoyable walks while my fianceé was at work. When I come to Peru I like to stay in a different place each time but I'm seriously considering staying here again the next time I travel to Peru because I had no complaints.
