They had roach bugs

Very cool place

the stay was good for what we needed. Room was clean and free of bugs, did not smell bad at all. water and toilet worked.

I was skeptical at first (I usually am when staying somewhere for the first time) but was super surprised at the cleanliness of the room and friendliness of the staff also. Cannot say anything bad about this place. Everything was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Motel employees were nice, recently remodeled & clean

it is a old time motor lodge but not run dow. its up to date and clean and quaint.. the staff is amazing and nice. they actually have real keys not scan cards.. i felt safe kinda like mayberry.. i was there for hiking the area. it was perfect. i will stay again

Shower room and toilet rooms were moldy

We called the property before booking on hotels.com to ask if they had pet friendly rooms still. We have stayed at this property probably 20 times or more with our dog. We were told they no longer allowed pets. Reluctantly we found a sitter for our baby and stayed anyway. When we arrived to the property there was not 1 but 2 huskies in 1 room and a smaller dog in another room. When I questioned the staff about it. He said that he just couldn't turn anyone away that he was a animal lover. I totally understand that, but I don't like to leave my girl either and I was told she couldn't be on the property. I tried to let that go we were booked for 2 nights. We get up and go to the lake with family the next day and when we get back @ 5:00 they had not even serviced our room. No clean towels/washcloths. When we question why we were told they do not do that anymore because they have walked in on people in inappropriate situations. Um.... They know to knock right?!?! To be honest I used to like to stay here because for the most part it's clean and they are friendly. It was still decently clean and the guy at the counter told my husband he was just helping out and didn't technically work there was nice but if he doesn't really work there I mean he can't help what they do or don't do. For me this is one of the worst experiences I have had at this property and after staying here many many times I think I will just look into a new place to stay!

This is an old fashioned motor lodge. The rooms are clean and fresh.

Everything was great. I called to let the staff know that I would be late checking in and the gentleman was super friendly even though I didn't arrive until after 1pm.

On arrival, ice machine out of order, direct tv went out and really needed some updating. Owner was very nice but rooms were not great.

This was the worst place we have stayed. We found needle cap in bathroom, no hot water filthy. Hard bed. Rude owner. Tried to charge me twice. Complained about Expedia. Never again

It was clean but would not stay there again. Bed was very uncomfortable and could hear everything.

Beds are terrible, nothing but springs. The room was dirty. Toilet ran the whole time. Had to go get more towels because no one cleaned and wouldn’t bring more. Asked to switch rooms and was told no. Something outside room that looked like blood on the ground. Staff was rude. Never stay again!!

Pool was suspect, but the rooms were clean and comfortable.

This is a nice property. It is close to the lake and, in addition to a swimming pool, has an outdoor picnic shelter. They also have a freezer where you can store your fishing spoils during your stay. Surrounding area was very quiet. I enjoyed my stay.

We found our room at Weiss Lake Lodge to be updated with new bathroom and overall very clean. We had read previous reviews and were a little cautious, but the location was perfect for our needs. We were very happy we chose the lodge and will return.

The price was cheap. Windows were dirty. There was an overstuffed chair in the room with stains on the seat cushion that looked like sperm stains. I wouldn't even put my bags on it much less sit on it. I opened the window blinds to let in the light and they hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. There was a tip envelope on table and I gave the cleaning service a few housekeeping tips...and a few dollars.
