The hotel close to everything, the beach restaurants , very calm and super safe and good for family

On my way back after i went through the custom and less then hour to my flight i remembered that i forgot my wallet in the hotel i called right away they found it and send it straight with taxi driver in about 10 munite i got my wallet i will never forget that
I just want to say thank you so much for the help i will look forward to go back again

I enjoyed the hotel restaurant and staff. When I arrived there was no one available to check us in for over 40 minutes. I had to go sit in the restaurant and order food in order to wait for hotel security to get there and process my check in. When we finally got the check in done, I found it strange that the hotel required a copy of my daughter's passport (a minor). Not sure if this is the process for all hotels in the area but have never encountered that at any other hotel. The room was clean and hotel was unique but room did have an odd smell and the bathroom could use an upgrade. Also there were cats in the halls (not a problem for us but may be a problem for ppl that are allergic).

Staff was very friendly rooms are really nice and clean. Will recommend to everyone the restaurant the food is very good at the hotel and the staff at the restaurant. They were wonderful. Will Go back again.

We booked a double standard room but at check in they upgraded our room for free. The food in the restaurant’s hotel and breakfast incluyes were delicious. For beach access we recomend verde profundo which is located 30 meters from hotel. Totally recomended.

I like the friendliness of the staff, the included breakfast and the closeness to the beach. The front desk staff were helpful with scheduling tours and supporting with taxi arrangement.

We booked after reading customer reviwes. Evertything was true to our experience, good room, excelent customer service and to top it of amazing breakfast. Walkable to beach, not a tourist spot by any means gor i ternarional travelers but it is nice and get to experience how locals enjoy precious beach. There are dru kards or otherwise street vendors teying to make a sale or conversation. Nothing a continus walk wirh no eye contact wouldnt weedout.

I like the hotel was gated, area peaceful, art was lovely to look at, staff was always available, the restaurant food, drinks, staff and decorations were stellar. I didn’t like the Jacuzzi was always cold and not attended to.

The room was very comfortable. There was Dominican artwork throughout the property. The attached restaurant was lovely. The food was delicious. I (Bill) took a walk after eating. There were mostly bars along the street. One young lady was a bit too friendly.

I liked the exterior of the property, peaceful and very Zen-like. It's like a shared with the manager/owner (unsure), it's like an oasis in the desert.
What I didn't like, was the anbience after dark. Totally unsafe, dirty and unpleasant. Not much decent entertainment in the surrounding area. It's as though Batey has been tasked with lifting the area to it's old glory. I wish them all the best and hope to see it some day. Thanks

Had a reservation for 2, only to arrive and be told by the security guard I can't bring anyone with me to the room? What's the point of have a room for 2 if you can't plan to maybe meet someone and bring them back with you? Who I spend my vacation with is none of their business. If I pay for 2 people then that's what I expect. Didn't plan on having to pay last minute to go somewhere else in the night since they won't allow a guest to enter in a room booked for 2.

Great customer service, the staff was really accommodating. Even though it was a short stay. The room was clean and neat. The location was also perfect, close to everything. Walkable distance to the beach and restaurants.

Stay at the Batey Hotel for one night stop while waiting for my next flights. The place was very nice and well maintained, clran and rooms where spacious and very comfortable. Staff is A+, very helpful and welcoming.
I use their private transportation to the hotel to make my life easier.

We only stayed for one night so didn't really get to enjoy the pool or hot tub. Easy check-in and out, room was clean and spacious. The included breakfast was good. The area could have been better as soon as you walk out of the hotel you got everyone on you to help with this or that when we just wanted to enjoy an evening at the beach without being bothered.
