I’ve stayed here before but this time they weren’t as accommodating. I also do not understand why they close the bar deck outside at 10:00 when we only have so many beautiful evenings to enjoy the outside. We came back to the hotel to enjoy a cocktail and the weather and they wouldn’t let us sit outside. That deck was the main reason we chose to stay there.

I am overly picky about cleanliness and odors. This hotel was perfect- not a trace of past people and decorated beautifully. Comfortable bed, nespresso machine in the room- delicious- extremely friendly and accommodating personnel. Kind of ruined every other hotel for me. Why can’t they all be Hotel Zachary?

Hotel is nice and new, great location with mostly solid service but for the price, is not equivalent to some of the 5 star hotels downtown. It’s the little things like having a side table next to both sides of the bed in the room to rest a drink, phone, etc. and would be ideal to have an outlet on each side of the bed. We also had three people in our room but only had two towels (which were small for my 6’ tall husband), fine for someone smaller but tiny for taller individuals. We struggled with luggage and dogs in and out of doors twice and while the front staff at the door were friendly, they didn’t rush to help us by opening doors when we were struggling. Front desk staff was fabulous. Rooms were very quiet, even if you had noisy neighbors you could hear from the hall, could not hear them when in the room. Very nice hotel but for the price, it really could smooth out a few tenacious expect at that price point. The hotel was very per friendly!

The hotel was convenient for events at Wrigley Field.

We were thrilled to be so conveniently located to Wrigley Field as well as be able to park and check in ahead of the event. The entire staff was welcoming and accommodating.

Hotel Zachary’s staff is very friendly and accommodating. We stay there frequently, and the rooms are always extremely clean.

Bathroom floor was a bit dirty, but otherwise very clean room and beautifully furnished. Hair conditioner in shower was not fulled and so I had to go without. Wonderful view of Wrigley Field! Wish the rooms just came with a fridge and microwave rather than having to ask for them. Housekeeping staff was very quick to bring us anything we asked for. Patio bar was nice.

The convenience of the hotel location to the concert venue. The hotel is over priced and doesn’t offer complimentary amenities.

We stayed here for 30th Anniversary. Bed was very comfortable with nice linens. Great location to public transportation. Great view of Wrigley Field. I booked this hotel due to proximity of Wrigley Field. For the amount of money to stay you'd think they'd have complimentary breakfast. Other food options within walking distance. Overall great stay.

Best place to stay for Cubs games

The Zachary Hotel is unique and delightful. Located in the heart of Wrigleyville in Chicago the surrounding area is vibrant with activity. The hotel offers clean, well appointed rooms, very interesting decor focused on the local area. The staff are outstanding in competence and curtesy. Several restaurants within the complex and plenty within easy walking distance. The rooms don’t come with a fridge or coffee maker, but we did get a coffee maker upon request. In room safe. We were in town to help our daughter and her husband pack up their apartment and drive back to the East Coast, so we didn’t get to linger in the hotel, but I would happily stay at the Zackary any time I get the chance in the future.

Love the Zachary, but was extremely disappointed that the bar balcony was closed when we got there after the Cub night game. A big part of the rationale for paying such a premium for staying there is the ability to sit on the deck and take in the sights and sounds of Wrigleyville before AND after a game. Definitely not worth the extra cost for this trip…

Great staff, clean and quiet hotel

Very expensive to South Park always valet because they don’t tell you that self parking in their building is $60 for 24 hours. That’s my only complaint about staying here.

Went for cubs game we had fun. Stadium was right across the street and so convenient

Everything exceeded my expectations. My room was spacious, especially the bathroom. Valet parking was professional and quick, hotel was easily accessible. Plenty of things to do within walking distance, great access to transit.

Very classy place. We stayed two nights and went to two games at Wrigley. So convenient. Rooms were comfy and we loved the turntable!
